Camping de Helfterkamp Vaassen Camping De Helfterkamp is an ideal family campsite, situated near the village of Vaassen in the Veluwe district, in a beautiful, wooded area at the edge of the Crown land. Our 6 hectare campsite is situated …on our own 14 hectares of land. The pitches are very large. Therefore, you can enjoy to the utmost that true camping feeling with tent or caravan. As well as an intense nature experience, our guests will also experience the geniality and hospitality for which the Veluwe district is well known. Children can enjoy themselves to their heart's content at the various playgrounds with sandpits and climbing frames. We also have a children’s farm, a children’s play forest and a recreation barn. We have caravans for rent at the campsite. These caravans are fitted out with all modern conveniences and fully equipped for 4 persons. A farmhouse, typical of the province of Gelderland, is centrally located on our campsite. In this farmhouse, you will find both the reception and a well stocked camp shop. Furthermore, we have new heated sanitary facilities, including a baby room, a family shower room, a covered dish washing room and a laundrette. All pitches have connections for electricity, and most pitches have a tap and connections for wastewater. At our campsite, you can hire a bicycle for a sports trip. Dogs are allowed at the campsite, provided they are kept on a leash.

Anyone who wants to enjoy the tranquility and beautiful green area of the site Helfterkamp, do not expect a site at the first right. This route description via the A-50 will lead you unerringly to the Helfterkamp. Other routes may …be shorter, but certainly not advisable. Take exit 26 (Vaassen) of highway A-50 (Apeldoorn-Zwolle); Follow the road towards Vaassen, drive at the first roundabout on the Apeldoorn Canal, the second roundabout at the third exit left; Follow the road, and after a sharp turn left at the roundabout take the first exit left towards Vaassen center; Drive to the junction with traffic lights. You also pass the castle "The Cannenburgh '(on your right); Follow this road for approximately 2 km and turn right into the Gortelseweg; After about 500 meters on your right the entrance to the Helfterkamp. The camp is also excellent ANBW signs indicated.
