- Hans F.July 2024VentajasIn the middle of nature ! Very clean !DesventajasNone !A dream !The most beautiful place in France 🇫🇷
Pure nature, very clean and we will definitely see you again in 2025, which we are very much looking forward to!Traducido automáticamente. - Jürgen M.June 2024VentajasVery well-kept grounds. Beautiful shady spots. Direct starting point for activities.DesventajasPool area not very attractive for children over 10. Wifi on site is chargeable.Beautiful place in the VaucluseVery nice location directly on the river.
Very well maintained facility.
Very friendly operators (2 languages Eng/Fra).
Sanitary facilities ok and always clean.
Sufficiently large pitches under plane trees.
Nice pool area, but probably only intended for adults and small children.
Jumping, romping, running... not allowed.
Children's playground without shade and very sterile.
Starting point for many hikes, bike tours and excursions.
Bread service.
Wifi is chargeable, except at reception.
We recommend a walk to Lagnes. A place (almost without tourists).Traducido automáticamente. - Racing R.April 2024VentajasThe location The cleanliness The well-kept grounds with many plants Location directly on the river PoolDesventajasVery well-kept, small campsite with lots of plants. Beautiful pool area.Well maintained, clean, safeI was only there for one night in spring 2024, but this place is very beautiful and highly recommended.Traducido automáticamente.
- Elisabeth H.April 2023Ventajaswell-kept, beautifully landscaped under treesDesventajas./.Very nice placeBeautifully maintained site on the course of the river, sufficiently large shady pitches, clean sanitary facilities, nice welcome, wonderful croissants 🥐. Smaller pools, one was heated.
WLAN 1h free per device on the pitch, unlimited in the reception/bar area.
Opposite a climbing park, you can hear... the road a bit during the day, quiet at night.
Out of season, excursions to the Luberon, Avignon or Nimes are worthwhile. The nearby spring is worth a visit and you can eat well there.
You can see from the amount of bus/parking spaces provided that, unfortunately, mass tourism is the order of the day here in summer.
The place - highly recommended, gladly again.Traducido automáticamente. - Klaus-Peter A.July 2022VentajasPlace is right on the river (acts like air conditioning in the heat), clean, friendly staff, good location for excursions, excellent croissantsDesventajasA few more toilets would be great, parking spaces are at least partially tight and too expensive.Very nice place right on the riverWe stayed at the campsite to go on excursions in the surrounding area. The location directly on the Sourge is wonderful and has a noticeable cooling effect, especially in the heat. There is direct access from the campsite with sunbathing facilities right on the river.
The nearby Fontaine de Vaucluse... and L' Isle sur la Sourge are great places to visit.
Washrooms and toilets on the site are clean and in good condition. A few more toilets would be nice, but this is a minor issue.
We had a nice shady pitch with water and a sink right on the pitch. Unfortunately, the pitch space was quite tight for the price (which is definitely in the upper segment). We were only just able to place our Eriba Troll with the awning extended. The car was already partly on the path.
All in all, however, a real recommendation. The staff were very friendly and we would come back at any time.
An important note: We are often traveling in France, but the croissants we got there were the best we've ever had!Traducido automáticamente. - Alexandra G.July 2022VentajasEverything very clean and well maintained. Very friendly hosts.DesventajasNone!Top campsiteEverything very clean and well maintained. Friendly hosts. Park-like grounds with tall trees, therefore always pleasant temperatures even in the heat. Situated by a stream. Great starting point for exploring Provence. No entertainment, but peace and relaxation. We would love to come back!Traducido automáticamente.
- Axel S.June 2022VentajasQuiet, pleasantly small site. Very friendly and professional team.DesventajasAlmost too quiet, especially with children, not much going onNice little placeLa Couteliere is a very nice and small place.
It's a great location for day trips: lÍsle sur-la Sorgue, Avignon, Gordes, Orange, Spirou Parc in Monteux, all close by.
The staff is very friendly and super nice!
You can order delicious pizza or other snacks at the snack bar or enjoy them right there.
The... pool is a nice size.
The pitches are partly parceled out, which we really liked. The Sorgue is too cold for swimming!
There is a soccer pitch and a tennis court for children, but not much else...
We extended our stay and really enjoyed itTraducido automáticamente. - Mike K.September 2018VentajasPleasant reception, free WLAN at the cozy corner next to the reception, beautiful pitches, the adjacent river Sorgue, hiking trailsDesventajasWe didn't miss anything. We liked it there - end of SeptemberWe found everything we could expect at the end of September. Some places were already closed, but that didn't bother us, which must be clear to anyone who goes to a campsite at the end of September. The daughter at reception is very nice. My favorite person to talk to. She still speaks English as a second... language. Even if you don't speak English or French very well, she helped me/us very well, even with sign language if necessary. Always courteous. She even printed out the train connections to Avignon for us without much prompting. It's very easy to travel from l'Isle sur la Sorgue to Avignon. The campsite is small but pleasant, clean and cozy. At the reception you can get beer by the glass, regional wine, information material and can order bread and rolls. There is also a table football game. You can sit comfortably next to the reception and enjoy free Wi-Fi. The river la Sorgue flows right next to it and there is a canoe station right next to it. If you tell them you're coming from the campsite next door, you get a 5 euro discount. Beautiful hiking trails lead from the campsite up into the mountains and to the olive groves. (Be careful further up there are free-roaming dogs in front of inhabited properties, but then they stopped, but it was not pleasant) On my camper profile page here, there is a link to our Youtube page. There is a little movie of us from the Couteliere campsite and what we did from there.Traducido automáticamente.
- Elisabeth F.August 2018VentajasClean, shady, well-kept campsiteDesventajasWLAN must be paid for (22 euros/week)Relaxing place directly on the SorgueVery quiet place right on the river with access to a river island where you can relax wonderfully. Nice pool, pizza and omelette in the evening in summer. Small mini market available, nearest shopping facilities in L'isle sur la Sorgue (4 km). Hike to Fontaine de Vaucluse: 2 km. The site is well suited for car excursions to Avignon, the Luberon, Mont Ventoux, etc. Canoe rental right next to the campsite. English is also spoken at reception.Traducido automáticamente.
- Jörg B.June 2018VentajasFriendliness of the owners Pizza parlor Cleanliness Bath in the Sourge Market in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue free WIFI near receptionDesventajasTraffic noise cannot be avoided during the dayFamily-run place - highly recommendedThe owner couple with two lovely daughters run this place with all their hearts. All four are always approachable and very friendly. The man of the house opens his pizza bakery in the evening and everything tastes good and is reasonably priced. Everything is very clean. The pitches are easy to reach.... During the day the country road is always audible, but at night there is hardly any traffic. The site is locked with a gate in the evening. A dip in the cold Sourge is recommended. There is a market in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sundays. Look for a parking space early, as the place is then completely overcrowded. However, the market is definitely worth a visit (it closes at 13:00!)Traducido automáticamente.
- André v.May 2017VentajasCleanliness and friendliness. Beautiful surroundings. WLAN costs, but works perfectly.DesventajasNone foundVery nice campsite with lots of shadeThis campsite offers beautiful pitches with some very old, well-kept trees that provide welcome shade even in May. You can only hear the road during the day, but it didn't bother us. The host family is not only very friendly, but also takes excellent care of their guests. The cleanliness on the pitch... and in the sanitary facilities is impeccable. All in all, a campsite with a family that understands what it takes to be very busy even in the low season! A bargain with the ACSI Card ;-)Traducido automáticamente.
- Michael W.August 2016VentajasSensational locationDesventajas-Beautiful placeVery idyllic, shady campsite located directly on the Sorgue. Nice operators and clean sanitary facilities. The pool and regular fresh moules a emporter are the icing on the cake...Traducido automáticamente.
- Olaf B.June 2016VentajasVery good sanitary facilities good location of the place for excursionsDesventajasNo restaurant or snack bar in the low seasonolsiThe site operators are very friendly. However, if, like us, you don't speak English and only a little French, only gestures and facial expressions help.the whole place is very clean and well-kept. The pitches are large enough and the campsite is very conveniently located for excursions to Avignon or... to get to know Provence. ordering bagette is a matter of course. unfortunately we missed a restaurant or a snack bar (during our stay the boss did not use his pizza oven).Traducido automáticamente.
- Heinz E.May 2016Beautiful place at SorgueThe site is divided into very different parcels, some of the pitches are located directly on the Sorgue river under tall, shady trees. Even in early summer, the site is already well occupied with few free pitches available. There are relatively many rental accommodations. The 2 sanitary buildings are... always in good condition. A spacious outdoor pool invites you to swim. In the reception building you can buy the most necessary things, further shopping facilities are in L'isle sur Sorgue. Baguettes, croissants etc. can be ordered for the morning. In the evening, the friendly owners offer a selection of fresh pizzas. There are many excursion possibilities in the area, also by bike. Wifi is free of charge in the reception area!Traducido automáticamente.
- Matthias R.June 2014VentajasDirectly on the water, shady spotsPure relaxationVery nice place a part of the places is located directly on the Sorgue, you have direct access to the shore it is even allowed to let the dog swim there. Some of the pitches are completely shaded. From there you can see the source of the Sorgue, Gordes and L`Isle sur Sorgue.Traducido automáticamente.
- Ulf D.July 2011Very nice site with many shaded pitches, some of which are located directly on the river; pitches are large enough; the location directly on the river always provides a slight cool breeze in the summer heat; friendly reception; the location of the site is a good starting point for exploring the surrounding area;Traducido automáticamente.
