- Daniel K.August 2020Ventajas+ Hospitality + Great location in the Upper Engadine + peace and quietDesventajas- nothingWonderful campsite with great hospitalityOn the first evening, one of the permanent campers organized a BBQ that you could join in with - what a welcome! Also otherwise, very great hospitality, help was given with setting up, the somewhat uneven terrain can be well leveled with the wedges available. Beautiful walks can be started directly from... the campsite, the central location between the Upper Engadine and the National Park offers a wide range of excursion possibilities!
The sanitary facilities are ok and are kept clean, fresh bread can be ordered, and restaurants in Zuoz and La Punt are within walking distance.
Our pitch was narrow but nice and long, we had enough space to sit down in the shade or in the sun.
Our tip: take the train to Pontresina, then walk to Lej da Staz, take a dip in the mountain lake (changing rooms available) and then continue to St. Moritz.
We had a great vacation and would love to come back to this campsite.Traducido automáticamente. - Urs B.August 2018VentajasSmall but perfect course with good and nice course management.DesventajasNo grocery store nearby.Nice well managed placeJust good - helpful operator and very nice. - Richard W.August 2017VentajasHiking, cycling, horse riding and a cozy placeDesventajasnoneSmall and cozy placeVery well located campsite. The train station is practically next to the campsite but the train doesn't interfere. This was our second time here and we had a great time again. Friendly owner family.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain August 22, 2016Thank you very much for your review!
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.Traducido automáticamente. - Emile G.February 2017VentajasBeautiful place in the smallest village in the Engadin, family-friendly and optimally connected to the transport network www.engadinmobil.chDesventajasDepending on the time of year and the size of the site, a reservation may be advisableCamping and by train to St. Moritz and the whole EngadinConveniently located, probably the best place in the whole Engadin. Connection with the Rhaetian Railway to Ponterisina, Celerina, Samedan, Scuol, Davos, Preda, Bergün, Filisur, etc... Rail excursions on the Albula line, Bernina Express, Glacier Express and Preda-Bergün toboggan run. The campsite is... well equipped. The owner is always ready to help with words and deeds. In winter the snow is only rolled, which gives the campsite a lasting beautiful winter landscape. Those who are prepared to combine their planning with the mobility on offer will experience a vacation without boredom.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain February 23, 2017Thank you very much for your review!

We always clear the snow after the first snowfall in winter so that we have a hard surface, then of course the extra snow is cleared away with the snow blower.Traducido automáticamente. - Rainer S.September 2016VentajasGreat location near St. MoritzBe sure to plan in! Small campsite in a central location in MadulainVery nice (manageable) campsite with a friendly owner. Ideal for bikers and hikers. The nearby railroad line does not disturb. Ideal for railroad enthusiasts. For bikers too, as the ascent to the Albula Pass is in the immediate vicinity.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain October 19, 2016Thank you very much for your review!
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.Traducido automáticamente. - Markus B.August 2016VentajasVery clean, good connection to public transportationGreat placeWonderful little site in a fantastic location, very clean sanitary facilities, the site operator goes to great lengths to keep everything in order. Although it's right next to the railroad line, it doesn't disturb you - apparently the Bernina Express trains are quieter than German trains. If you don't need a swimming pool or any special frills, this is the place for you.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain May 30, 2017Thank you very much for your review!

There are stores in both neighboring villages, a bakery, fresh alpine milk and a farm store on site.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain September 7, 2015Thank you very much for your review!

Very nice and helpful groundsman.DesventajasApart from a bakery, there are no stores in the village.Small family campsiteSmall site ideal for motorhomes, the train station is right next to the site. Clean sanitary facilities and nice groundsman. Somewhat crowded pitches, but no problem for mobile homes up to 8.0 m in length. Great starting point for hikes and bike tours. We liked it very much, we would love to come back.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain August 18, 2015Thank you very much for your review!

Wonderful bread, fantastic croissants and other fine things are now available directly from the bakery, just opposite the campsite (30m).
There is a Coop supermarket in Zuoz just opposite the train station (2.2km).... A butcher's shop, a bakery and a Volg supermarket are located in the village center of Zuoz (2.3km). Another Volg supermarket is located in La Punt (1.7km).Traducido automáticamente. - Claire R.July 2015VentajasCentral, friendly, cleanSmall but mighty!Small but nice campsite in the midst of wonderful nature. Centrally located by the train station and yet quiet, as the crowd is very pleasant.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain August 5, 2015Thank you very much for your review!
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.Traducido automáticamente. - Martin G.July 2015VentajasGood location for excursionsDesventajasNothing serious detectedCampsite in a beautiful locationThe 0.5 ha site is located between a road and the railroad line, noise pollution is not a problem! Beautiful tent meadow, very suitable as an overnight stop for cyclists. As a caravan or motorhome traveler, you have to be aware of the size of the place, it may be that you have to stand rather narrow!... The sanitary building is well equipped and clean. If you're cooking for yourself, it's a good idea to arrive "bought in". Shopping facilities are available in La Punt and Zuoz. I can highly recommend this place!Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain August 5, 2015Thank you very much for your review!
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.Traducido automáticamente. - Andrew K.July 2014VentajasSmall, quiet, super facilities, good train access, beautiful area.DesventajasNot important for us, but for others: not a lot of facilities for children? An outstanding stayCamping Madulain was perfect for our needs: a couple wanting a base for a week's walking and exploration. Site small and quiet, right next to station (Swiss trains are quiet too!) with great service up and down valley. Tent pitch excellent (easy for pegs!). Owners very helpful. Facilities to very high... standard, immaculately clean. Bread and drinks available on site, otherwise used supermarkets in Zuoz and La Plante - open till 6pm and on Sundays. Some great walking from campsite, easy access to massive choice elsewhere; would be excellent for cycling too. Perhaps not lively enough or enough facilities for some families, but great for us. A brilliant week: one of the best sites we have stayed on.Respondido de Camping Madulain August 21, 2014Thank you for your rating!
We are delighted that your stay with us was enjoyable and satisfying.
Most of our guests with children usually are active people who are undertaking (hiking, biking etc.), nevertheless a public playground can be found in the center of our village (approximately 200 m from our campsite). - Melissa N.July 2014VentajasCleanliness, location, peace and quiet, comfort and facilities.Desventajas-A real pleasure! The welcome is warm, the facilities well-maintained, the site quiet and well-located, everything clean and well thought-out. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us.Traducido automáticamente. - peter k.October 2012The campsite is well located for excursions in the Engadine by bike, car or train. The peace and quiet was unfortunately disturbed by a building site on the nearby railroad line. The clean sanitary facilities are wonderfully heated. The electricity prices are charged per KW.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Madulain April 25, 2014Thank you very much for your review!

Beautiful conservatory with lots of reading material and information about the whole Engadin. The enterprising site owner fires up the barbecue every evening, which can be used by all campers.
