Quiet place perfect for an overnight stay
We were here spontaneously for an overnight stay on the way to the Atlantic. The site has just under 70 pitches, but they are not separated from each other. They are basically meadows with trees, but that also has its charm. When we arrived, there was only 1 camper van and 2 tents. 5 more campers arrived... during the day. So there was plenty of space for everyone.
The shower only has one temperature, but the water was evenly warm. Toilets without glasses but with paper, overall everything a bit older, but in order and clean.
There is a beautiful castle in Dissay and lovely walks along the canal to get some exercise after a long drive.
Unfortunately there are no shops or restaurants in town (the castle is very expensive) where you can have a bite to eat in the evening. We were lucky that there was a burger truck on the market square on Saturday. You can get a cool drink and ice cream at reception.
For less than €20 (family of 4), absolutely recommendable as a stopover.
