- Kade H.October 2021VentajasCleanDesventajasPlaces that are difficult to accessIdeal for motorcyclesThe site is very clean. But it is so steeply situated on a slope that there are only a few pitches that can be easily accessed by bus or camper van. Pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists get their money's worth.Traducido automáticamente.
- Steffen E.May 2018VentajasThe location of the village and the roads to it. High standard and very good supply options.DesventajasCareless handling of the retained ID cards. Lack of maintenance.Room for improvementThe name is more of a publicity stunt. You can see the impressive mountains from almost every spot, but the spectacular combination with the sea is only possible from very few points and from the pool and restaurant. A great deal has been invested in a high standard. The children's area in the pool and... the sports equipment area are particularly nice. But it also needs to be maintained. This was lacking. What good is a nice shower if the missing hook is not replaced or the tap is loose. And without trimming the vegetation, the view is lost. We were there in mid-May. The site was already well frequented. Pool in operation but restaurant not. Primarily for tents and of course hut holidaymakers. Only a few pitches accessible by camper van or caravan. And only small ones. Beach not easily accessible on foot. The spectacular roads leading to Porto and the location in the narrow valley mean that motorcycles can be heard from early in the morning until late at night. Rather a place for a stopover. One incident at check-out ruined our whole day. Because the lady at checkout was constantly on her cell phone, she forgot to hand over my ID. Unfortunately, I only noticed this at the next CP. No response to emails. So another 2.5 hours to get there. As the passes are kept in a pile and not assigned to the pitch number (as on other campsites), the surplus pass would only have been noticed at the end of the season. From my point of view, this is also part of the service.Traducido automáticamente.
- Branislav C.June 2017VentajasSwimming pool, restaurant, cleanliness, silence.DesventajasLocation further from the sea and on a slopeBranoNice and quiet campsite on a hillside. I also positively evaluate the cleanliness and helpfulness of the owner. Next to the campsite there is a supermarket.Traducido automáticamente.
- Lutz F.August 2015Ventajas+ Very well maintained and clean + good infrastructure (sanitary + electrical) + suitable for all age groups and families + shadyDesventajas- the vehicle cannot be parked in all spaces - Steep terrainGreat, well-kept campsite that has a lot to offerSole E Vista is situated on terraced, in part quite steep terrain right on the edge of Porte and has two access roads connected by a serpentine asphalt road. The entire site is generously planted and offers plenty of shade. The young, very friendly lady at reception spoke excellent English. We were allocated... a relatively small but perfectly adequate pitch for our tent. There are plenty of electrical connections available. However, we couldn't park the motorcycle right next to the tent, but had to park it 10 meters away on the main path - but it was no problem at all. The entire site makes a very well-kept impression, which is also reflected in the two spacious and modern sanitary buildings. In the upper part of the site there is a restaurant with a pool area with sun loungers and a pretty little pirate water park for the kids. There is a SPAR supermarket directly at the lower entrance to the campsite where you can buy everything you need. Overall, the campsite offers everything a camper's heart desires, if you can do without direct access to the beach. Porto beach is approx. 1 - 1.5 km away. We can recommend Sole E Vista without reservation.Traducido automáticamente.
- Robert K.June 2014VentajasPool OK; Restaurant OK; Pitches OKDesventajasquite far to Portoon foot far away from the sea...On the edge of the village, quiet location, many terraces, quite steep access roads, serpentines. Many terraced pitches are not accessible by vehicle, so mainly suitable for tent campers! There are 4 sanitary buildings, all renovated and very modernly equipped, washing machines for hire available! The... restaurant has a nice location, right by the pool. The pool is quite large and has a magnificent view of the sea and mountains, and there is a separate pool with a slide for children. Many, well distributed, partly newly built electricity columns; several barbecue areas available. The reception was only open from 14:00 to 20:00 during our stay (June 2014). There is no store on site; bread is available in the restaurant in the morning. There are two supermarkets directly in front of the campsite. Bungalow rental, children's playground, WiFi for a fee.Traducido automáticamente.
- Steven J.June 2014VentajasMany Corsica highlights in the immediate vicinity. Now also suitable for families with small children thanks to the poolDesventajasCramped for large motorhomes. Sanitary facilities not sufficiently cleaned. The extra comfort unfortunately came at the expense of cleanlinessI was at this campsite for the 5th time in June 2014. A lot has changed there since my last visit in 2011. Lots of new rental chalets, a restaurant (not tested, but quite expensive according to the menu) with terrace and swimming pool. You can also get baguettes and croissants here. There were also significantly... more electricity taps. The site is terraced and incredibly steep. An asphalt road winds its way through the terrain. Many smaller paths branch off from this, along which there are fairly level pitches. There are also many small niches for small tents. Very good tree population. Sufficient shade as a result. Some pitches offer a beautiful view of Porto's local mountain - the Capu d'Ortu. Only a few pitches, usually already occupied, have a sea view. There is only a limited number of pitches for larger motorhomes. In the low season, the chances of getting a pitch are still quite good. But with "battleships" it is almost hopeless. The bends are too narrow and steep. Tip: The campsite has a second access road from the road to Ota at the top with a reception (which was not manned, but the gate was open until after midnight). Since only the sanitary buildings further up are open in the low season and you therefore usually look for your pitch further up, access via the upper access road is recommended. You save yourself a lot of hassle. The terraces are connected by numerous steps. The ascent is steep, but a nice shortcut compared to the road. But only in the dark with a flashlight! Somewhere there is probably also access to the river with bathing spots. The sanitary facilities in the upper section, which were renovated in 2007, were still in good condition. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired this year. There was no cleaning for 4 days over Whitsun. No garbage bins at the washing facilities and showers. The other garbage cans were overflowing. Hopefully this was an exception. It was ok the years before. However, there are still no hooks for towels and toiletry bags. Washing machines available (fee). You can buy food in one of the two supermarkets in front of the lower CP access road. Small playground at the upper reception. Pool with toddler pool. The walk into the long village to the sea takes around 30 minutes. There are numerous restaurants and a passage to the rough beach. (Bathing shoes recommended!) Steeply sloping. Therefore dangerous for inexperienced swimmers. Sometimes high swell. Then the stones hit your shins - painful! Access to the beach is also possible by car. Take the road towards Piana and then down to the right. Beautiful Genoese tower can be visited. Very beautiful sunsets. Numerous Corsica highlights nearby: Calanche, Girolata, Scandola, Capu Rosso, Plage d'Arone, Spelunca Gorge. 100KM run tour via Evisa, Sagone, Cargese. Please note: In the low season, reception is only open from 2pm to 8pm. If you want to leave in the morning, you must pay the evening before and collect your pass. However, there are no additional costs if you leave the campsite after 2pm.Traducido automáticamente.

- Gregor F.May 2011..camping high above the centre of Porto, in the shade, under a canopy of myrtle trees (if you get a tent it's hard to get out), no one at reception, but it says you can get a place and pay later..., there's a problem with the electricity, because all the plugs don't work. The supply is in the centre..beautiful place.Traducido automáticamente.
- Magdalena K.September 2010lovely terraced site, two entrances, town centre approx 1km, just a bit hilly, well separated pitches, two well stocked supermarkets nearby, fresh fish at least once a weekTraducido automáticamente.
