- Andrea B.July 2024VentajasClearly laid out, large clean pool, children's playground, children's activities - Bambiano, close to the Tresa River, clean, well-kept facilities, toilets/showers are cleaned several times a day. Kiosk with fair prices, offers. Close to Ponte Tresa/ Luino, with Ticinocard free bus, post bus, train, ideal for excursions. Free car PP, chairs by the pool.DesventajasUnfortunately no shower for children/toddlers, with removable shower head. Few/no sun loungers by the pool. Too bad no more aqua fitness this year.Family-friendly, well-kept, small campsite - pure relaxationRental caravan for several years.
Fully equipped and clean since this year. So vacation is always fun.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana August 21, 2024Dear Andrea B.
Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay again this year. Unfortunately we could not offer the AquaFit this year. Maybe next year again.Traducido automáticamente. - Engel A.May 2021VentajasWhat we particularly liked about the campsite itself was that it was well maintained, the sanitary facilities were always clean, corona measures were implemented flawlessly, the washing-up water was really hot, the showers were really big with optimal heat regulation, the pool was inviting and the children had a really cool playground. Everything was also fine with the otherwise special permanent campers or tenants of the various accommodations (conversations, no "camping police")DesventajasThe location is directly on the water, apart from the Tresa itself, very natural and quiet - except in the morning between 0800 and 0900, construction machinery and materials are loaded on the other side of the river, in Italy.Family-run campsiteI can recommend this family-run campsite (which is also reflected in the camper) without hesitation!
The location is directly on the water, apart from the Tresa itself, very natural and quiet - except in the morning between 0800 and 0900, construction machinery and materials are loaded on the other side... of the river in Italy. Ponte Tresa is about 5 minutes away by car.
Culinary highlights include the top-class baked goods, which can be ordered the day before at an absolutely fair price. The mixed salad plate (7 different salads) for CHF 8.50 was very good value for money. The fries, at CHF 5 per portion, were quite expensive. The pizza for CHF 14.50 looked great - unfortunately we didn't get to eat one.
If you like it more dignified, you will find a lot in the surrounding area. We can recommend the small zoo in Magliaso (admission per adult CHF 12,-/ dogs allowed). The water hiking trail ("Sentiero dell'acqua ripensata" - rediscover the water) is also a real treasure (waterfall - go straight down, moorland, wash house, etc.). But be careful - follow the correct hiking trail. Otherwise you will suddenly find yourself on the Italian border. The village of Sessa and especially the church there is absolutely worth seeing.
Five days after our return, we have already recommended the campsite four times to friends.
And yes, dogs are indeed welcome - top top top.
If there was anything to improve - on arrival, an hour early (1400 instead of 1500), we didn't feel immediately welcomed. However, after two hours this was immediately forgotten.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana August 14, 2021Dear guest Angel A.

Your Camping Tresiana TeamTraducido automáticamente. - Hans D.April 2021VentajasGreat location, very friendly welcome, good leisure opportunities (hiking, walking, cycling) directly from the campsite. Good connection via post bus to Lugano. Nicely laid out CP.DesventajasBourgeois permanent camperCool place by the riverThe reception is very friendly and relaxed. The site is beautifully laid out and the location directly on the river is wonderful. Although in a "side valley", many activities are possible.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana August 14, 2021Dear Hans D.
Thank you very much for your feedback and the good rating. We look forward to welcoming you again soon at Camping Tresiana. Your Camping Tresiana TeamTraducido automáticamente. - Frei M.September 2020VentajasVery friendly operator and clean facility Very clean sanitary facilities Large selection of breadDesventajasPitches sometimes very small and cramped Industry in the vicinityIn the sunniest part of SwitzerlandWe spent a week at the Tresiana campsite at the end of September. Top sanitary facilities, as well as the rest of the site including the pool, very well maintained and clean. In the store you get the essentials. Bread (large selection) can be ordered in advance and is delicious. The location on the river... is great. However, the immediate surroundings do not invite you to linger, as there are several industrial companies along the road. However, there are some lovely walks from the campsite. For our taste, the pitches are too small and you sit too close to each other.Traducido automáticamente.
- Susanne G.May 2019VentajasQuiet, good starting point for excursions, well maintainedDesventajasNone!Very well-kept, quiet placeInstead of the planned seven days, we stayed at this very well-kept campsite for 16 days. Very friendly, always committed operators as well as the relaxed atmosphere and the good starting point for activities in the surrounding area made our vacation on the Tresa perfect. A hiking trail leads right past... the campsite, so you can explore the surrounding area. Thanks to the Acsi card, our stay was very reasonably priced in the low season. We would love to come back.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana June 13, 2019Dear Susanne Gasse - thank you very much for your feedback and the great rating. Very quiet and friendly permanent campers on the site and although dogs are allowed, everyone always strictly adhered to the rules. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a quiet, relaxed vacation in a friendly environment.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana September 14, 2018Dear Alex Schneebeli

The shop on site sells necessities and snack meals are available.We... camped on the riverside so peaceful and relaxing. Ideal area for travel to the lakes and mountains .Gabby the owner is such a lovely lady. Nothing too much trouble and always a friendly smile. When we left she even put a m sage on her phone to show us wishing us a safe journey home .never has that before. Disadvantages: "no swimming in the river" - you may swim in the river at your own risk, but please note that it is a bottom river.Traducido automáticamente. - Carlo S.May 2018VentajasClean, friendly, nice place.Super placeFriendly and clean. Your Camping Tresiana TeamTraducido automáticamente. - Regula W.October 2017VentajasLocated directly on the river, no road in between, quiet. The sanitary facilities are clean, everything is available. Great for children + dogs.DesventajasNo village for shopping nearby, which is within walking distance. Children must be supervised because of the river.Vacations in October 17We spent two wonderful weeks in October with our caravan and our dog. We really enjoyed our vacation at the beautiful campsite in the wonderful countryside, situated on the idyllic Tresiana river. The couple looking after the site were very friendly and accommodating to our guests' wishes. The site and the sanitary facilities were very clean and hot water was always available. We will be back again 😊😊👍🐶Traducido automáticamente.
- Petra J.October 2017Ventajasquiet, cleanDesventajasA lot of fixed campers, see above.Overpriced, no extrasThe place is quiet, is clean, some places on the Tresa (opposite is visibly a factory), pitches strictly numbered, our family tent has just not fit into the dimensions, no Swiss TV programs, pet and glass must be disposed of in the village only waste from the campsite, Internet would have been very expensive, but did not work at all. No extra in the fall (restaurant and pool closed)Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana June 4, 2018Internet: Thanks to the provider's network expansion in winter 2018, we can finally offer better and cheaper WiFi.
Waste disposal: Pet and glass do not have to be disposed of in the village - we have had a new disposal concept since the start of the season.
"Disadvantages: a lot of permanent campers" - this has never been noticed negatively and the number of permanent campers is in a low proportion to the total size of the campsite.Traducido automáticamente. - Kevin T.August 2017VentajasPool, playgroundDesventajasHardly any children on the campsite expensive W-Lan (30 min for 3 Sfr) Euro and francs are equated and not chargedDisproportionately expensiveWe were passing through and stayed at the campsite for one night. That was a mistake! We constantly had the feeling that we were being ripped off. First of all, we were served a completely overpriced breakfast. On top of that, we had to pay the bill for breakfast, which was written in francs, in euros... without being charged, as we didn't have any francs. This is dubious and outrageous. Furthermore, the campsite, which is in a good location, deserves better staff. The groundskeeper is cool and distant. The groundsman is offensively unfriendly. We left this campsite with an unpleasant feeling and can only strongly advise against staying here.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana January 9, 2018Guest services will be in new hands from 2018.
Wi-Fi has been expanded and is now affordable for everyone.Traducido automáticamente. - Martina H.August 2017VentajasDog friendlyDesventajasNo WLAN...extremely expensive for no service...zero service on site... - Heiner M.May 2017VentajasDirectly on the river, close to nature, dog-friendly, quiet, directly on the border with Italy, friendly permanent campers, dogs free of charge, poolDesventajasexpensive WLAN ( 30 minutes=3,50 francs), high visitor's tax, payment only possible in francs and ec card possible, some pitches poorly demarcatedNatural place directly on the riverVery nice place directly on the Tresa between Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore. The place is half occupied with permanent campers (for permanent campers very friendly people) Since 1.4.17 the place is managed by a new groundskeeper couple (both at first glance not exactly the most sympathetic) the lady... manages the reception and serves the garden economy. The man instructs the vehicles, mows the lawn, cleans the toilets and cooks in the evening (not particularly good, more like snack quality) and after getting to know each other better, he and she have shown themselves to be much more likeable than you might have thought at first glance. Everything is quite expensive on the site. Despite the acsi rate (€15), the pitch costs about 24 francs a day (low season with acsicard), plus visitor's tax (3.60 francs per person) and garbage charge. There are also acsi pitches which are subject to a surcharge. These pitches are slightly larger. The site is great for dog owners as it is located directly on the river and on a large dog meadow. Dogs are free of charge.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido de Camping Tresiana January 9, 2018Guest services will be in new hands from 2018.Traducido automáticamente.
- Andreas K.June 2016VentajasQuiet, surrounded by fascinating nature.DesventajasNothing significant foundIngrid and AndreasIdeal, quiet place as a starting point for hikes and excursions in Ticino and Italy. The whole site as well as the sanitary facilities are very clean, the groundsmen are friendly and courteous, you quickly feel "at home". As dog owners, we really appreciated the short walk along the Tresa. We will be back again.Traducido automáticamente.
- Erwin B.June 2016VentajasThe site is really surrounded by nature. There's also nothing but green all around.DesventajasThe journey can end up in a traffic jam, especially towards the evening. Allow for time, you are on vacation!WildernessBeautifully situated site with individual charm. Beautiful trees provide a pure camping experience. Good starting point for tours in southern Ticino and northern Italy by car or MTB. Beautiful and quiet site with clean and functional infrastructure. The pool is fantastic and the groundsmen are helpful and very friendly.Traducido automáticamente.
