"Our impression - Impression of CP Hökholz: Reception was very friendly and personable. Very quiet location of the CP directly on the Baltic Sea. Well, I personally wouldn't see it as an "insider tip", but the price for a good 2 weeks with caravan and tent (4 people, additional tent) of around 435 euros should not be disregarded, as others cost 200 euros more for the time. Nevertheless, one point of criticism is that an additional tent pitched on the plot (for the children) costs the full fee than if you come by bike with a tent, but then you don't have 50 square meters more space, which is really a lot, so a reasonable price for the camper would certainly be more acceptable and I think that everyone could be satisfied. The location of the campsite is almost always about 15-20 km away from the larger towns on all sides, so you almost always have to drive by car, but the campsite can't help it. This should therefore always be taken into account. The entrance to the CP is very narrow (one lane) but ok, the barrier sensors where you hold the key to open the barrier are in my opinion too deep in the hedge because here the vehicle almost touches the hedge and could possibly leave unsightly "scratches" (stripes) on the vehicle. This could be cut open by the CP operator so that the sensors are easier to reach and see. (see pictures) The CP is very permanent camper based, this is quickly noticeable by constant lawn mowing, but this does not actually make a negative impression. The small "store", if we can call it a "store" at all, looks more or less like a kiosk. In the small "store" you get the impression that it is damp. I would like to distance myself from Pier One (more of a pub atmosphere). The sanitary facilities are shower/washroom/toilet containers, but they are perfectly fine and clean, they are cleaned once a day, cleaning also seems to be with chlorine, as shortly after cleaning there is a considerable smell of chlorine, although the time and frequency in the high season seems too short to me (cleaning almost always takes 1 hour, you can then switch to the other building). Shower time; is OK in and of itself (50 cents / 4 minutes) yes you have to hurry a little when showering, it would be nicer if you could interrupt the time of the hot water flow to soap / shampoo etc. and then continue showering. Unfortunately, we noticed that individual "toilet leaves" kept finding their way home on the paths and were not sunk in the toilet. The lighting on the paths could be better, especially in the rear areas of the campsite where it is really dark if some campers didn't have small solar lamps, it would be difficult to find the paths at night, so a flashlight should be on board. The nudist area indicated on Camping.info is absolutely undefined. If you want to shed your clothes and swim naked here, you don't really know where the area is. There should be a sign or something similar pointing to this area so that everyone knows which area they are in if someone is lying naked on the beach (not everyone cares if there are naked people lying there). Nevertheless, I was told that the area should be near the dog beach, but it is very stony (natural, so you have to look for a corner to lie down there, always hoping of course not to lie directly in a "landmine") AND "HELLO" dog owners here it should be like at home! Even if there is a "dog beach", YOU can also put the legacy of your four-legged friend in the dog waste bags set up for this purpose, but also think about others, especially the children who play, run and splash around there. BUT despite the impressions described here, as always everyone has to make up their own mind. The place itself is very beautiful and above all not too "overpopulated". As already described, the beach is "natural", i.e. very stony with a few sandy spots here and there where you can sunbathe.
