Of course, as a German living abroad, I don't expect the German rest periods to be observed and can live with guests partying into the night. The next day I can sleep as long as I want. The beach is sandy but interspersed with medium-sized pebbles. At the campsite, the stones are removed with tractors in spring. The sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are free to use. The food in the restaurant tastes really good (typical Cretan cuisine) and is also reasonably priced. Personally, I like the food best at the "Babis" restaurant about 300 meters further along the beach towards Kastelli. Anna is the chef there, she was the boss of the restaurant on the campsite at the very beginning.
