A visit to one of the numerous wine taverns with wine tastings is also highly recommended. A boat trip on the Moselle... with a passage through the locks (preferably from Cochem) is also very nice. The site is very well maintained and in a quiet location (no railroad line to disturb the peace and quiet). The pitches are sufficiently large and parceled out. They have an electricity connection (6 A) and a water connection. Unfortunately, there was no possibility to dispose of the waste water (there are no corresponding sluices or similar). The only option was to dispose of the water in the trees or in the sinks. The operators and staff are friendly and competent. The sanitary facilities are modern and available in sufficient numbers. They are cleaned several times a day and were always clean. For 50 cents you can shower for 5 minutes (price is ok), it doesn't matter whether water is taken or not. It would be better to stop the timer when the hot water supply is interrupted. You can relax at the small pool area (children's pool and pool for swimmers).
