- Frauke N.September 2021Ventajasquiet lots of greenery very close to the sea bread roll service beach chairs for free on the beachDesventajasDoes not existVery quiet and beautiful placeA really nice and quiet campsite. The operator is very nice, shows everything and is always available. We were there with our dog, but it is also very suitable for children. We felt very comfortable.Traducido automáticamente.
- M. R.September 2019Quiet location, but unfortunately an unfriendly owner. We stayed at the Folger campsite for 2 nights for a short visit. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It's a small site and you can get to the water quickly. Unfortunately, however, the owner was rather unfriendly and insisted on pulling us off the site with her tractor on... departure so that her wet meadow wouldn't be destroyed. She did so, but we ended up with a damaged bumper, which was dismissed with a terse "I'm sorry" and when we subsequently clarified the situation we were insulted that we hadn't positioned ourselves correctly (there was no instruction on arrival, however). Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant camping experience for us.Traducido automáticamente.
- Tim B.May 2017Were disappointed by reality. We set off for the Folgerhof in high spirits and with high expectations... Camping on the family farm! As described on the website, we were expecting a lovely family farm with lots to do and experience for our children aged 3 and 5. Mrs. Folger was conspicuous by her absence when we arrived. A completely... annoyed and unfriendly snack bar owner next door then assigned us a pitch! Our normal sized caravan of approx. 7m was then to be placed in an approx. 8m large, hedged gap. When we remarked that we would never be able to maneuver in there, we were left completely alone with our problem. The snack bar owner could neither allocate us a suitable space nor help us maneuver. Unfortunately, according to the snack bar owner, Ms. Folger was also unavailable on her cell phone that day. Help with maneuvering a caravan would be, according to Mrs. Folger on the next day, completely excessive demands (literally). We only got information about life on the farm from other guests. Right at the pitch, however, a plus: swings and a sandpit. Unfortunately, the swing was almost out of the ground and the sandpit was littered with broken and sharp-edged toys, which we first had to sort out. The sanitary facilities at the campsite were old and unfortunately not clean (hair and dirt in the shower and dried stains from the last bowel movement on the toilet). At first we thought: "All right, but the courtyard is certainly a blast." Unfortunately, far from it! In itself and at first glance, everything made a very nice impression! Beach chairs for the parents, swings, trampolines, a huge sandpit with a real boat in it and, above all, animals. At second glance, unfortunately, everything looked rancid and dangerous! The beach chairs were old and stained, the trampolines were not covered with nets, rusty and patched with fabric tape and our youngest daughter hurt her leg on the boat with rusty screws sticking out (I then had to remove them myself). There were broken sand toys in the sandpit again. In the barn next door, there is also a large selection of Kettcars, scooters, tricycles and pedal tractors. These are also rusty and sometimes broken beyond repair. The barn is generally very dark and, in addition to keeping animals, is also used to store all the family's bulky waste, including rusty kitchen knives that are accessible within children's reach. Nothing bad to say about the hayloft itself, the stairs up are absolutely adventurous but okay. Now to the animals kept: The 2 ponies and also the 3 cattle and the 2 pigs looked mostly well cared for. The rest of the animals looked absolutely unkempt. The chickens had dirty plumage and the sheep had strange scabby and bloody growths on their heads. The stables are not nice and clean but they are functional. The next morning my wife wanted to go with our older daughter to get fresh eggs from the henhouse (according to the other guests this was perfectly normal and customary), where we met Mrs. Folger for the first time, who shouted at my wife in the presence of my daughter as to why we would allow ourselves to enter the henhouse and that she had been very annoyed with us the day before. After this incident, we broke off our vacation there.Traducido automáticamente.
- Ralf & Anja S.April 2014VentajasVery child-friendly and uncomplicatedDesventajasnone found :-)Small but very nice....Easter 2014A very small (6 pitches) but nice clean campsite, who wants to go on vacation with his little kids is in good hands here, petting animals, feeding the animals on the farm, Easter fire with barbecue and...and...and. Very friendly campsite operators! Always ready to help. Very small but clean toilet facilities!... The children can play together directly in front of the tents, you can always keep an eye on them! The way to the farm is short, only over a small but safe road. A lot of consideration is shown there. A short walk and you're at the sea (if it's there). Highly recommended!Traducido automáticamente.
