We stayed at this campsite in summer 2013 and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and there was a very nice playground for the children, which was also very centrally located. The site itself is not too big, so the children were almost always on their own. The pitches (grass area) are also... large enough and we had reserved a shady spot in advance. There is a different 'activity' every evening, run by Lars, the campsite operator, e.g. bunk cake or tractor rides. There were almost only families with children on the site, which is something to bear in mind, as it only gets quiet from 10pm when Lars pulls the plug on the big bouncy cushion. The sanitary facilities were simple but adequate and the kitchen building had 5 cooking rings for free use, as well as an oven and a freezer. Laundry can be done for a fee. For us, the site was the starting point for many day trips, e.g. Legoland, Givskud Zoo and also Ribe. The rune stones of Jelling are not far away and when the weather was bad, the children went to the heated swimming pool at the campsite (for a fee, but camping guests pay less). It was an all-round successful vacation that the children still rave about today.

Our estimation is not complete as it was not a season and we arrived tonight and left in the morning next day. First impression is extremely friendly hosts. Facilities of common use (kitchen, shower, toilet) are convenient and of reasonable purity, but perhaps a bit small for a hot season. There is very good playground for kids as well a lot of space for sporting. Big swimming pool was not operational already but looks very nice.
