"Reservation request - Ipolykapu Kemping: I have made a reservation request three times in the last few weeks and have not received a reply. I have also been unable to reach anyone by telephone. When a request is made, you are told that it will be forwarded to the campsite and answered. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

"Great place, also for dogs - The campsite is fairly new and very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The operator speaks some German and is very friendly. He also gives information about hiking, cycling etc. A restaurant is about 1km away and the food is good and reasonably priced. There is a snack bar about 100m away and groceries 400m. You are right on the Danube and everyone has access to the water - great, especially for our dog. All in all we were very happy here, we have seen it quite differently here in Hungary.

We’re happy to let you know, that there is a newly opened camping on a wonderful, quiet, familiar place, at the bank of the Danube, next to the ferryboat in Szob. You can come to us on two- or four …wheels, on foot, on the land or on the river, you will find all the social services you may need. A lot of possibilities are waiting for you to spend your precious freetime: river trip to Visegrád or Esztergom, rowing on the Danube, Ipoly or Garam rivers. You may take a cycling tour in the Börzsöny mountains and surroundings. If you like fishing or hunting you can do it. There is a small very special railway in the close forests and you can take big walks or tours in this quiet ambiance. You’ll find attentive service and unique panoramic view. Ipolykapu Camping, Szob
