Although this site is not on the lake, it is close to Trollhättan. The operators are very friendly and you receive a warm welcome. There is a heated pool on the site. There are 2 sanitary buildings on the site. One is already very outdated and needs to be renovated. The other, new one is right next to... the pool, but unfortunately has too few toilets and only very small washbasins in the toilets. It was always very clean. Showers and wifi free of charge. Nice large pitches and a restaurant on site. Highly recommended

Our trip to Sweden in 2015 also took us to Trollhättan, where this campsite is located just outside the town. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our own pitch. The helpfulness of the host family was also impressive. There are two sanitary facilities, the new one at the back of... the site by the pool, the one at the front is getting on in years and could be modernized, but it was always clean during our stay. For an excursion I can recommend the Vattenfall hydroelectric power station, which opens the sluice gates every day at 3pm in summer and the masses of water, 300,000 l/sec, make their way through the rocky gorge. The Oskarsbrücke bridge is an ideal observation point. The town itself offers a pedestrian zone for strolling and shopping.....

Visited for the first time in June 2014. Nice, level and bright site, very centrally located by the E45 entrance a few kilometers south of Trollhättan. Extremely friendly reception, nice and well-maintained sanitary installations. With DCU discounts VERY reasonable price which includes electricity and hot water. We will often return here, not least as a stopover place for traveling further north.
