Campsite near the airport ...
Average pitch near the runway of the airfield. Sanitary quite old and a bit unclean. Hot water in kitchen was always cold. Power supply on pitch area (meadow in front of the pitch) only via cable connection points laid by the operator, fuses blew frequently. Entrance to the sanitary and kitchen areas only via code entry, somewhat excessive given the quality of the facilities.

Proximity to the airport a bit annoying. Sanitary facilities unkempt. In the laundry more appliances defective than functional.

A good campsite in a good location
Basically, it's two campsites (indoor and outdoor). Helpful staff (operating until the arrival of the last ferry from Lofoten). Two clean and large bathrooms. Approximately 1 km to the shopping centre and air museum, approx. 4 km to the port towards Lofoten. Air traffic at the nearby airport is very light at night, practically not disturbing. Price 220,-NOK per dwelling. 220 NOK, car, 2 persons, electricity. I recommend.

The pitch is within earshot of Bodö Airport. The resulting noise pollution is a bit annoying. Otherwise, the site is actually quite nicely located on the outskirts of Bodö, almost directly on the fjord. However, there are much nicer campsites a few kilometers south at Saltstraumen, which are also quieter.... As already mentioned, this is a good place to wait for the ferry to Lofoten / Moskenes. Bodö as a town has nothing particularly worth seeing. The site is generally clean, the sanitary facilities are average, especially by Scandinavian standards. But everything works. The kitchen is functionally equipped, including seating. If you are not passing through, I see no reason to visit this site.

Well located place to wait for the ferry. Nearby airfield brings a lot of noise. Somewhat dingy, carelessly maintained sanitary facilities.

It's a little run down. Poor connectivity. Well close to the city, a little noisy due to the presence of an airport with high traffic, both civilian and military.
