- melanie k.August 2022PositiivsedSmall and cozy, beautiful pitches. Partly nicely shaded under trees. Charcoal barbecue for general use with dining area. There is a small café where you can buy an ice cream or just have a coffee. Very tasty homemade products (white wine, fig liqueur, salami, ham and olive oil). Very clean sanitary facilities. Washing machine (approx. 5 euros) and large fridges, e.g. for tent campers, available. Pool and children's playground. Mini store in the village by the church, open daily from 7 am to 2 pm, Sundays until 12 noon. Two good restaurants, in the village and on the outskirts. There are several beaches and beautiful bays in the neighboring village. Marta also has many insider tips for bays and excursions. Marta and Ivica speak fluent English.NegatiivsedFar from the sea, impossible to reach on foot with children! Car absolutely necessary, even for bulk shopping. Directly on the road, when the ferry arrives in Valbiska you can hear the traffic very strongly at night. You can also hear a lot during the day, but not disturbing for me. Plots are double-occupied, so there are often two strangers on one plot. That's not possible. You basically have to pass the other person to get to the back of the plot. I don't think that's good and almost impertinent. There was also a constant "moving stress" on the site, with caravans suddenly being moved to another pitch, tents being taken down and put up again somewhere else. Motorhomes were reparked etc. I've never found out the reason behind it, I can only explain it with greed for money, that you can accommodate as many people as possible, some just have to move so that I can accommodate two new ones.... There were also often campers for one night, for whom a quick parking space was then created by squeezing them in somewhere. It was not at all okay to keep the ID card. She only wanted one, the child's, because we are drivers. Nevertheless, it's not her place to take your ID.... This has happened many times in Croatia and I never liked it. I made extra copies this time, but she didn't want them, saying they weren't enough for her. The price increase at the end of the vacation was also impossible. In January we were quoted a price of around 52-55 euros for this period, per day for everything and everyone. We ended up paying 60 euros per day. The explanation was the rising costs, the Ukraine conflict and Corona.... Our pitch was worth it, we stood on the pitch for 14 days WITHOUT moving. But outrageous for campers who share the pitch with others and may even be asked to move. Marta is very focused on money and profit. Sanitary facilities somewhat small and "open". Women have 3 toilets, two showers without any shelves, you have to go back out naked where others are already waiting or quickly get your towel in... 3 washbasins right by the window, which is always open so that you are constantly seen brushing your teeth. A mother-child bathroom, with baby bath and shower. Probably similar for the men.Small, cozy place and friendly operatorsThe small, cozy campsite is a little further from the sea, a car, scooter etc. is absolutely necessary. You can walk, but it's a long way and not suitable for children.
The sanitary facilities are a bit small, but always super clean. They are even mopped at night. Waste is also separated, garbage cans... everywhere.
You can buy olive oil at the camp for 21 euros/liter and white wine for about 7 euros/liter.
The owners are extremely friendly, especially Ivica, a funny and sociable person who has a lot to say about the island and its inhabitants.
Marta is nice, but the boss, very concerned about money and always stressed at work, often talks about the high costs, how everything is getting more difficult etc.. But she has lots of great tips for excursions.
Excursions to various bays are also only possible by car. Sveti Krsevan (small stone church) and a great bay are recommended, as is Shipwreck Bay. The town beach of Pinezici is nice, but crowded, there are bistros and drinks stands there.
There is a mini store in Skrbcici that has everything you need, a little more expensive, but okay for small purchases.
Two restaurants, one in the center of the village, absolutely recommendable, great team, friendly, fast. The food is great. The one on the outskirts (ToniVale) is also okay, unfortunately the boss treats his employees very badly and shouts at them in front of the guests. Therefore only one visit there, I don't support that.
The island of Krk is easy to explore by car. The Hotel Haludovo in Malinska, a lost place, is worth a visit, albeit a dangerous one. A huge disused hotel complex. Sturdy shoes are essential! Not suitable for dogs and small children. Broken glass, stones, broken walls, stairs, etc.
But worth a trip. The paradise path for a nice swim afterwards is also great.
Krk town is always the same, cozy narrow streets, but lots of people. Expensive restaurants, no better than the small tavern outside.Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Manja W.July 2022PositiivsedMini camp, no loud animation, pool, very clean sanitary facilities Super hostessNegatiivsedIf at all: no direct access to the beach; a bit far to walk, especially as there is quite an incline on the way backLovingly managed mini campsiteA great family atmosphere, site manager Marta and her family are great hosts, the campsite is not directly by the sea, but the peace and cleanliness, the pool and the great service definitely make up for it.
We recommend going to the nearest beach by car, e-bike or similar.Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Ulrike D.June 2019PositiivsedLovely operator, spacious clean pitches, sanitary facilities and barbecue facilities. Water and electricity on site. Not big, close to the ferryNegatiivsedGravel pitch not necessarily suitable for tents. Some may find it a bit noisy as there is a road nearby and large supermarkets approx. 8-10 km away.Nice clean small campsiteWe were there for a few nights in June 2019.spacious pitches, very clean sanitary facilities, clean barbecue area with clean, new sinks.new fridge, washing machine.very nice, hardworking operator. Fair price. Small store and pizzeria around the corner. Nice bathing possibility at the sea 1,5 km. We felt very comfortable and would come again. Keep it up !!!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Ulrich H.September 2017PositiivsedVery friendly ownerNegatiivsedLoud due to passing roadBeautiful small campsite on KrkNice little place in Skrbcici, close to Krk. Well integrated into the local cycle path system. Beach approx. 1km away. Very nice pitches with water and waste disposal. Very friendly owner. Sanitary very clean but showers only with curtain. Unfortunately quite noisy due to the road to the ferry, but still recommended for a few nights at any time.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Frank M.August 2017Positiivsed-Small family campsite -The owner Marta -Ideal starting point to explore the islandNegatiivsed-Noisy at night, campsite is on the road. -Bill different than described on the internet or in the confirmation. Too badNice little campsiteNice little campsite, about 1.5 km to the sea. Ideal for exploring the island. Pitches are pleasantly large and very well maintained. There are only two showers and toilets each (men). But given the number of pitches, perfectly adequate. I didn't queue for a shower or toilet once in a week. Small bar... with a few wooden benches (new 2017) invite you to enjoy a cozy beer or wine. There are shops outside the campsite about 500 meters. Distance. The owner Marta is present all day and always concerned about the well-being of her guests. She always has a solution and also one or two insider tips regarding bathing bays or very tasty food. All in all, it was a very pleasant week at Camp Marta. . Points of criticism are the traffic to and from the ferry at night. The campsite is on the feeder road for the ferry. You can hear every vehicle at night. And that the prices that are on the Internet are not the prices that are charged. The bottom line is that we paid almost 80 euros more than described in the reservation confirmation and on the Internet.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
