Suse F.May 2015PositiivsedProximity to the cityNegatiivsedCleanliness could be better. Much too expensive!Campsite close to the cityAs this is the only campsite in Kiruna, you have no other choice. The price is correspondingly high (at our time 300,- SEK/night/wagon 2pers). The pitches are asphalted or partly graveled! The whole site is very large and spacious and also includes a hotel, restaurant, sauna and wellness area. The food... is very good in the restaurant but also very expensive, even by Swedish standards! The service building did not give the impression that it was cleaned during our stay, we were there for 2 nights. Plus point there is a sauna which is included in the price Wed.+Fri. Directly adjacent to the campsite is a residential area with high-rise buildings, but they don't really bother us. The site is OK - the service building is modern and clean. No need to pack all people in such a small area with all the wilderness around. Try to learn from the camping sights on the Norwegean side.
