The campsite operator is extremely friendly and accommodating. The pitch we were allocated was perfectly fine. We would love to come back.NegatiivsedLonger waiting time on arrivalRelaxed vacation in natureAs we needed a weekend to relax and switch off, we chose the campsite on the Wiesensee. It took us just under two hours to get there. Once we got there, we found the campsite straight away and were able to contact the groundsman using the telephone number on the signposts. He then allocated us a pitch,... which we were quite happy with. We spent the following days walking, eating and relaxing. It no longer has anything to do with camping.
The buildings are dilapidated, dirty and unheated.
Building sites, rubble and garbage pile up.
There are no rules or regulations.
It used to be a well-run campsite, but now there are... people who know nothing about camping and this place doesn't even deserve 1 star.
The well-being of the campers is not in the foreground,
but the purse of the operator and his assistants.

After more than 30 years we left the site as permanent campers.
The site is a ticking time bomb of electricity, gas and water.
No repair or maintenance on the site.
Hygiene and cleanliness are non-existent.
Who gives the place 5 stars, has not the slightest idea of camping.
But if you have... dogs and let them do their business on other plots, you give 5 stars.
With the operator and his incompetent staff, only the Euro counts.
Again the rent was increased without having invested in the space for the camper.
We were also lied to and cheated like many other campers before us.
Buildings are dilapidated, unhealthy and dirty.
Paths in the dark poorly lit or not lit at all.
Just say:

If you go to a campsite, you are happy to make use of the shower, toilet, etc. facilities - that's what you pay for. Here, however, it is better to do without the available facilities. The actual campsite is occupied by... permanent campers. The whole site is unkempt. Day and short-term guests are accommodated on the separate tent meadow. Anyone can do what they like here. Payment in cash in advance on arrival. Bread roll service, baked rolls from 9 am. The adjacent meadow lake has been overgrown with weeds for years in summer, no swimming etc.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

Unfortunately, the organization is not yet fully developed. Toilets and showers could be used, they are just old. The garbage cans should be taken care of more often, unfortunately they overflowed with us. Price performance was ok. Super nice, helpful operator.NegatiivsedSanitary needs to be modernized, but is clean.Super spympathic and wonderfully locatedSuper friendly, courteous and service-oriented site operator; he probably took over the site not too long ago and is working hard to bring the ageing site up to scratch. We stayed as a group (with camper vans and caravans) on the tent meadow, wonderfully unspoilt by a babbling brook, just a few steps... from the Wiesensee lake. A small bridge leads to the actual site, which is dominated by permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are from the 1970s, but functional and clean. There is also a small washing-up area on the natural tent meadow with old trees. What I like most about this place is that it is informal and flexible, without a lot of rules like large commercial campsites. The surroundings are beautiful and invite you to take long walks through the forest or around the lake. When it got muddy in places on the tent meadow after a day of continuous rain, the operator came without being asked with a trailer full of straw to cover these areas and make them passable again. He also took a lot of time after the rainy weekend to pull a few of us off the wet parts of the meadow with his tractor. Very friendly, very helpful and service-oriented. A place without a lot of frills, but down-to-earth, natural and friendly. Thank you, we will definitely be back again in the summer!Automaatselt tõlgitud.

New campers have to be taught how to deal with garbage and the sanitary facilities, but that's the same everywhere, fish ponds in top condition and fishing for trout is always possible. The CP am Wiesensee is basically very nice. It is very quiet on the nearby Wiesensee. From here you can start beautiful hikes or bike tours and there is a lot to see and experience in the immediate vicinity. However, with a little more desire and love,... much more could be made of the place, for example: - You can pre-order bread rolls the day before, but you have to wait for the very short opening hours of the reception. Why not simply put up a list outside or leave the list in the Italian restaurant next door? Since we never noticed the opening hours of the reception, we bought our bread rolls in the morning in the neighboring village. That was also ok and this bakery had very tasty baked goods, all homemade. - The sanitary building is a bit outdated, but completely ok. With a little more care, the whole thing could be upgraded a lot. - Why do you send the day guests or short vacationers to the tent meadow next door when there are so many beautiful pitches empty on the campsite? We chose this place so that the kids could splash around/swim, but the lake is totally covered in algae. You only have to pay in cash in advance on arrival, which is good to know in... this day and age. The sanitary facilities were not even cleaned during the four days!!!! That is not possible... Only when asked was it said that the lake was not suitable for swimming or splashing around at the moment. And the crowning glory is the groundsman, you either like him or you don't... - Hélène v.May 2015Condition of the systemThe campsite's sanitary facilities are outdated and not really clean. We absolutely do not recommend renting a caravan. The toilet does not work properly and clogs regularly. The tenant is then charged € 150.00 for cleaning. Despite € 30.00 for cleaning (payable in advance), the caravan is very dirty.... Despite the carpeted floor, there is no vacuum cleaner available... A hotel room in the area is cheaper in the total bill and then the bed and bathroom linen is included including daily cleaning...
