- Mathias H.August 2019Absolutely in orderNot for 5-star, fully-animated, ADAC-recommended, garden-fence-hello-galli campsite fans, as the previous speaker obviously is. I will (hopefully) no longer have to meet them here. If you always want it to be "German", you should stay in Germany! The structure of the course is absolutely fine. And: If... you're traveling to France, you can try speaking a little French. That's right: the tenant doesn't speak much English, but is nonetheless helpful and FRIENDLY. She had my reservation request (in English) translated by Google and answered it (in English again with the help of Google). I didn't have the feeling that I wasn't welcome - quite the OPPOSITE. "As you call into the forest - so it sounds out again." The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine. Anyone traveling to France should know that toilet paper is usually part of your personal equipment in France. And: "No toilet seats" have undeniable hygienic advantages. And: Anyone can find out for themselves that there is also industry in Calais by looking at the map (or tablet/smartphone) ... After passing the dune, you come to a beautiful, not too crowded sandy beach with a view of the canal and busy ferry traffic, very interesting.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Sven W.July 2019PositiivsedGood location, directly behind the dunes, quiet at night.NegatiivsedOperator refuses to speak English, EC cards are refused, bar + snack bar advertised on the homepage not available.a good transit pointThe campsite is located approx. 2km from Calais, directly on the dunes. Pitches of different sizes, good mix of permanent and short-stay campers. The site is large and well maintained. Our pitch was straight and also quite large. However, the pitches are all of different sizes. There is no kiosk or anything... like that, according to the homepage there is also a bar and snack bar, but both only exist as buildings, which is a pity, because you want to have what you book. The operator and his staff refuse to speak English, which makes the contracts difficult and gives a feeling of being "undesirable". It is also difficult to explain if you don't like something. EC cards are not accepted and this is not communicated in advance. The sanitary facilities are really old, but clean. showers not open all the time, only hot water possible. no toilet seats, no paper, no soap in the toilets. mess like that! The men's showers were broken. If you didn't do anything about it, you should just go over to the ladies. There are several industrial companies and a main road right next to the site, lots of noise during the day but quiet at night. The bottom line is that it wasn't enough for us, we didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it to others. The feel-good factor was simply too low. For transit the place is possibly.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Christel M.May 2019PositiivsedProximity to the tunnel, ferry and cityNegatiivsedLong lunch break and bread quite lateQuiet campsite close to the cityAttractive, clean site, simple but clean sanitary facilities. 3km to Calais and close to the tunnel to the UK. Unfortunately long midday rest and then not occupied. There were no toilet seats and no paper (we don't think that's bad). W-Lan was unfortunately down at our time. The site is located directly... behind the dunes. Steps to the beach, downhill deep sand, but beautiful! Shallow, so lots of beach at low tide! You can get bread from the baker, who drives across the site in his van. Unfortunately only at 9:30 and sometimes later. Attention: was low seasonAutomaatselt tõlgitud.
- Falk J.August 2016PositiivsedClean, good location, beautiful beach, generally well-kept and friendly.NegatiivsedNone.Beautiful campsite - beautiful beachOverall, a really recommendable campsite. Clean, good sanitary facilities, friendly reception, bar with friterie on site, shopping facilities nearby. Nice beach with access directly from the campsite; free WiFi. Not much to complain about. Also relatively cheap.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 2015Ideal transit point for the leap to EnglandMedium-sized pitch directly behind the dunes. The beach is about 200m away on foot. Noticeably many static caravans. The wash houses only open at 8am, but at least the toilets are open all day. There are toilet bowls without glasses or standing toilets available. In mid-May, we paid 21.70 euros for 2... adults with a camper van including electricity, although our two dogs were free. WiFi is not offered. The Eurotunnel is only 6km away, which was a decisive factor in our choice. The water is heavily chlorinated and in my opinion unsuitable for drinking (coffee/tea).Automaatselt tõlgitud.
