Directly on the lake, further up in individual areas, at the top with more shade and quiet.... we feel very comfortable here with dogs. It's also nice that the site is long and not all in one place. What's great is that the beach is only for campsites. Depending on the pitch, a long power cable is necessary, water is only available at the sanitary building... from the sink. Quiet location, provided you don't have the misfortune of having partying families on site. A good night's sleep is then unfortunately a foreign word.

No catering facilities on siteSmall, beautiful locationGetting there was a bit difficult as none of our satnavs knew the roads, only Google Maps saved us. The first impression from the barred container reception did not bode well. However, the staff were very friendly. The driveway to the upper terrace is quite steep and so narrow that you can hardly manage... to stay on the asphalt with a large towing vehicle and caravan. Unfortunately there is a step down next to it, so we had to sit on it with the mover. Our pitch was ok in terms of size, which I can't say about all pitches. The number of sanitary facilities was sufficient, although the pitch was hardly occupied. I found the furnishings and layout no longer up to date for a fairly new pitch. The cleanliness was not so good, stains and dirt on the shower cubicles could be seen for several days. In the morning the doors and tiles in the anteroom were black with insects. Bread roll service was no longer available in October. The washbasins are nice and big, but installed far too low, so washing up without back pain is not an option. There are no draining boards for the dishes. Actually a nice place, but in many places not quite thought through.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

Sports enthusiasts and those seeking peace and quiet have plenty of options. But the "makers" obviously don't know much about camping. There is an elongated pitch with four terraces, which offers beautiful views from everywhere. Unfortunately, from... the second row onwards, trees are planted in the embankments, which completely restrict the view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are very clean and there is also a water supply, and only there or directly at the entrance. (It's quite a long way to carry...) Power supply at every second pitch, fits. The plots themselves are small, have too much slope and are not so great with (too) coarse gravel as subsoil. The one-way street regulation runs in the wrong direction, if you want to stand with the awning or canopy facing the lake, you have to turn around at the pitch. The driveway to the top row is a bit tricky for larger caravans. The supply of breakfast rolls works perfectly at the reception, restaurant can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. Snack stalls in front of the entrance are a little reminiscent of a funfair. Other successful campsites were apparently not taken into account in the planning. It starts with the approach. The campsite is supposedly signposted from the main road, but we couldn't find any signs. Perhaps... this is because there is currently a lot of road construction going on in this region. Our fixed navigation system in the car and also our Tomtom didn't know the address of the campsite despite map updates, with GoogleMaps on the smartphone it worked to some extent if you had good cell phone reception. When you arrive at the campsite, you are greeted by a reception in the form of barred window containers, next to a somehow cobbled-together restaurant area. Not a good first impression. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was quick thanks to the reservation. You get a transponder for the barrier system, but there is another gate in front of it, which should only be closed in the evening, but was also locked several times in the morning or late afternoon, so you had to get out of the car first to open it. Had someone forgotten to open it again after the night or midday rest? The pitch itself is divided into 4 terraces. We had reserved a pitch in the bottom row directly on the beach/lake. In the second row at the level of the exit there were almost only permanent campers, in the third and fourth row there wasn't much going on because the view of the lake was blocked by large trees on most of the pitches. Even terraces are no use if you are higher than the person in front, but then trees block the view. That's why I think the two upper rows are useless if you want a view of the lake. Then there's the second row, where most of the permanent campers have set up. For those who want a view of the lake, there is only the first row and you should simply ask for a pitch there when making a reservation. However, the pitches there were quite small, so that caravan, awning/awning and car did not fit on one pitch and if you did without an awning or awning it was still quite cramped. You can rent a second pitch, but it has to be available first and then of course costs extra. New and modern campsites in particular should actually know how big pitches should be. Here they are definitely too small. What's more, the pitches on the shore are also very uneven. With our 7.50 m caravan (we stood with the drawbar facing the lake), the length was already tight and while the rear almost touched the ground, the supports at the front had to be extended to the maximum and supplemented with wheel chocks so that the caravan was reasonably level. The pitches are covered with coarse gravel. One day we were able to turn out the awning (the car was parked outside during the lunch break), but we couldn't hammer the pegs into the ground to secure it because we immediately hit stone. But that was okay, I had expected that given the surroundings and luckily it worked without pegs. However, electricity and water were always quite close to the pitches and there were no problems with the satellite dish from the front row. However, satellite reception might be difficult in the two upper rows if you don't have a tripod and TV cable with you. There are two sanitary blocks on the site, which can be reached quickly. As the site is only a few years old, the sanitary buildings are logically still quite new. But here too, unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. The washrooms were always clean, but the cleaning work started at 9:30 am, which was far too early. On vacation, you want to sleep in and have a leisurely breakfast and then go to the washroom. Some of the wash houses were closed until 11:00 for cleaning. The sanitary facilities for each gender are really small. For the men, there were just 2 shower cubicles per wash house, which is too few for the size of the site. Especially if you want to shower in the morning before the cleaning times start. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether there were shower coins or showers were free. In addition, hardly any camping guests understood the principle of the transponder for opening the door to the sanitary blocks. It is understandable that you need a transponder for this, but the system was not intuitive for most guests (including me). The guests helped themselves by blocking the door with a small stone or something else to prevent it from closing completely. At the entrance to the square there is a small catering corner where you can eat a bratwurst. For good food or shopping, however, you have to drive a few kilometers to the next larger village, which can be complicated with all the road construction. But once you're on the main road, you can quickly reach Leipzig and the surrounding area. I can't remember the cost of the stay, but I don't remember the place as "too expensive" or "really cheap" in the long term. Conclusion: If you are setting up a new campsite, you should look at other sites with a similar terrace concept beforehand. A lot of potential is simply being wasted here. Make the pitches larger (and more level in the front row), remove the wooded areas in the back rows and enlarge the sanitary facilities. Then the site would be a great success. Unfortunately, as it is now, it remains a site in the category "Enough for a short stay". What a pity.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

And you can only get on and off the site at the main access road. You get a transponder key, but unfortunately it doesn't work on any of the side doors. We were very annoyed by the early checkout.
