Summary (detailed feedback below): In itself the location of the CP is very great, The site is nice and green and we were able to relax well here. There are great cycling routes nearby and it's not far to Enschede or Winterswijk. There are shops in the village or you can drive a little further towards... the nearest big city. Those who don't insist on quiet sanitary facilities will certainly be very satisfied on this site. However, the small sanitary blocks are not recommended and should be overhauled! This site is definitely suitable for short trips. We used this campsite for a spontaneous vacation over the Easter holidays, as we also wanted to make a detour to O.. We received a very warm welcome at reception, even though the lady could hardly understand a word of German, let alone speak it. Nevertheless, we were able to find our pitch very quickly thanks to the site map. Our pitch was very pretty and planted with shrubs all around. We personally like it when we are separated from the neighbors and have a bit of privacy. The pitch had electricity, water and waste water connections right next to our pitch. The pitch had a grass surface, but there are also some pitches with a paved area. The large sanitary building is definitely not for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet in a quiet place. Many toilets next to each other make the building look more like a rest area toilet. The toilets are open at the top and bottom, the showers are fine, but there is always a lot going on here. The reason for this seems to be the other sanitary buildings, which are quite outdated. Presumably these buildings are not being renovated as the surrounding chalets have their own bathrooms...! Nevertheless, the water in these sanitary buildings stinks and the cleaning staff only do a wipe-clean. The campsite has lots of play facilities for children, as well as a pool. There is a snack bar with an outdoor terrace by the pool. Drinks, snacks and ice cream are available here, so parents can sit on the terrace and still keep an eye on their children. The restaurant and pub is always busy and you can have breakfast here in the morning or a beer in the evening. It's a shame that hardly anyone speaks German here either.

Great vacation, great price
We were there for a week. We really liked it and everything was great. There is a snack bar in front of the reception where you can get delicious food and ice cream for the children. We will definitely go there again.

Bumps, sanitary facilities and condition of our pitch (No. 47)
Aged and in need of renovation. Many defects
Sanitary facilities are getting on in years. At least the 2 sanitary blocks located near the Kerkdijk road need a thorough overhaul. Also, 2! Showers per house are completely inadequate. I don't want to know how long you have to queue to shower in high season. One corner of our pitch (no. 47) was littered... and I found lots of broken glass on our pitch. That is an absolute NO GO! Staff were very friendly and courteous. There were bumps on the paths to the pitch and we touched down several times with our DB C-Class. These bumps alone are a reason for us never to visit this campsite again.

Large bungalow and campsite. There were hardly any Germans during our stay. Many permanent campers, but pitches mixed with short-term campers. The pitches are arranged around a pitch with play equipment or playing field, the pitches themselves are quite large. Water could only be tapped at the pitch... with a key (inconvenient). Sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. Two of the sanitary blocks were old and unkempt, we used the block in the newer part of the site. This was newer and clean. The temperature of the showers cannot be adjusted and they switch off after a certain time. The outdoor pool is mainly for children. Unfortunately no store on the site. Snack bar available.
