- Thomas W.June 2013Hello everyone, I landed on this site by chance ... but what can I say, I was thrilled!!! I was told that the site has reopened this year. The previous operators have taken their well-deserved retirement and the site is now run by two young men who are putting a lot of effort and commitment into the... job. The whole place has a very nostalgic feel. This includes the reception with integrated "supermarket" and bar (where you could also eat something) as well as the sanitary facilities, which were always clean and functional. The pitches in the old part are shady thanks to the straw cover and the trees. In the new part, this is unfortunately only halfway there, as the new plants are still being planted. One small disadvantage (which didn't bother me personally) ... the old and new parts of the site are separated by a railroad embankment. And as befits a railroad embankment, there is traffic on it. But the noise this creates is bearable. From the end of the new pitch (past the lovingly designed campsite beach bar) you have direct access to the beach promenade and the beach. This was empty during the week and only a little fuller at the weekend (there are beach houses/apartments belonging to Spaniards throughout Creixell which are probably only inhabited at the weekend). Creixell itself is not that worth seeing in my opinion. However, you can take a nice stroll along the beach promenade towards Barà. There are also various restaurants, bars and the well-known hawkers. Conclusion: I will definitely visit this place with its really nice operators again. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here and it is definitely an alternative to the neighboring "big places"! Now some important information for dog owners: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach anywhere on the Costa Durada!!!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
