Large pitch, shopping directly on site - vegetables, wine, bread, oysters on Sundays! 45 minutes by bike to Lacanau Plage. Carla M.August 2014PositiivsedLocation!Top locationIt is surprising that there is no rating for this site yet - it is not easy to find - as it is somewhat hidden in Lacanau and is accessed directly from the main road (directly opposite the veterinary clinic). The pitches are quite large, the sanitary facilities are old but spotlessly clean. A small,... manageable site. But what really makes it a gem is the location. Directly in Lacanau in a side street, there is a fairly popular pizza service, a great greengrocer's, a fairly new and inexpensive launderette, 200 m to a small Carrefour and less than 500 m further on a Super U with everything you need and a petrol station. The location from Lacanau is sensational - both the lake (which is not as crowded as Hourtin) and Lacanau Océan are not far away - to the lake on foot - to the sea by bike or car. The prices on the site are really affordable, even in high season - we paid just under 25 euros per night with 2 children and 2 dogs, including electricity. For us, the site was originally intended as a stopover after 10 days by the sea, but we liked the peace and quiet, the lake and the shopping facilities so much that we stayed for 4 days. The lake is suitable for children - you can stand in it almost all the time. There were lots of locals at the campsite to go surfing on the various beaches - Le Porge, Lege Cap Ferret and Carcans are all within easy reach by car.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
