- Ekkehard D.October 2019PositiivsedGood location, quiet, pool.NegatiivsedMore frequent guests without the "camping gene"Quiet place in beautiful surroundingsWe've been to this campsite several times now and would love to come back. In the low season (we were there in May and September) it is very quiet, in the high season it is quite full. The ladies at reception speak French and English, one also speaks Dutch. Digne les Bains is a spa town, and the spa... center is located above the square. Many guests, mainly French, many of them in mobile homes, come to take a cure. So you also meet people who lack a bit of the camper gene. The site is fairly flat and parceled out, the pitches vary in size and the staff try to keep large pitches free for large caravans and motorhomes. The site has a water problem when it rains. The rainwater then flows freely over the site and turns low-lying areas in the pitches into small ponds and later into mud holes. In unstable weather, it is therefore important to set up tents on higher areas of the pitches. Flooding could also occur due to the stream flowing past. In September 2015, it rained quite long and hard, but the stream could have absorbed many times the amount of rain. Some of the facilities have now been renovated and everything is running smoothly. The water is sufficiently warm. To go shopping, you have to drive or cycle towards the town, where there is a large supermarket with a petrol station. The town itself has everything you need. Bread can be ordered for breakfast. On some evenings of the week a pizza van comes by, occasionally there are also other offers, this can be found on the various notices. The large pool is open to all swimming enthusiasts.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Jörg B.June 2016PositiivsedGood starting point for train journey to NiceNegatiivsedInformation about existing offers on site is missingQuiet place outside the villageOlder, outdated place outside the village. Information from the staff is unfortunately not given. For example, on various days there was a well-stocked local fruit vendor on site with great produce. Information at check-in would have been good. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. You can leave... the site at any time with a card, e.g. to catch the 7:15 train to Nice - a nice 3 hour drive through the mountains. There is a large supermarket and petrol station nearby on the way into town. There is free WIFI at the tourist information office. You can eat well in the restaurant La Tarverne at 36 Boulevard Gassendi.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Horst L.July 2014Positiivsedquiet location, clean well-kept campsite, supermarket 1 km awayNegatiivsedInformation from reception was not really helpful, no free internet although advertised, no shuttle service although advertisedquiet, clean campsite on the outskirts of the villageCampsite in a quiet location on the outskirts. Contrary to the advertising on the homepage, there was only paid internet. There was also no free shuttle service to the town or the thermal baths. However, the bus stop for the local public transport (for a fee) is in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Markus L.September 2011The site is a little outside the village. Clean sanitary facilities, somewhat "chaotic reception" (no idea which pitch is free). A lot of fixed bungalows, a lot of mostly older spa guests, therefore a somewhat "peculiar atmosphere"Automaatselt tõlgitud.
