"super campsite - As already mentioned, we only have positive things to say about this campsite, everything that was not so good concerned the place itself. Le Pouldou is not very well developed for tourism. Although there are up to 5 campsites in and around the village and a large number of vacation homes and apartments, there are virtually no shopping facilities. If you really want to go shopping, you have to leave the campsite. But that was the only point to complain about... The location is very good for the region, the beach or the beaches are within walking distance min. 1 is really touristically maintained and monitored. Of course, everything that wants to go into the water meets there and so it is correspondingly full at high tide. We recommend the region and the campsite without reservation Climatically, we find this region in particular to be very relaxing...

"Great place near the beach - Site designed with great attention to detail (flowers, hedges, herb garden, tree courtyard, etc.). Large and clean sanitary facilities. Large, level pitches with direct water and electricity connections Very friendly staff (French and English-speaking). Very good value for money. It doesn't matter that you have to pay extra for the slow WLAN. For those who like it quiet, the place is definitely highly recommended. To the beach about 3 minutes by bike

"Top CP in Brittany. - Visually very appealing CP with lots of flowers and other vegetation. Quite large pitches fenced in with hedges. Huge, clean showers with washbasins; some have smaller bathrooms at home. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hardly any mosquito infestation, very quiet in the evening. Occasional air traffic from L'Orient airport, about 20 km away. Conclusion: gladly again. :)

" One of the most beautiful places in Brittany - We stayed at the site for a week in June with our camper van. A warm and uncomplicated welcome. Water, electricity and waste water directly on site. If you are looking for peace and quiet, beautiful hiking and cycling trails, you are in good hands here. The place is quite small, but you can buy everything you need in the village.

"Lovingly designed campsite - We spent two days at Les Embruns campsite....to date one of the best and cleanest we've been to in France. We were back at the beautiful campsite at the end of Aug. 2018, everything was wonderful, but the sanitary facilities should get an update in the foreseeable future

" - I spent 2 1/2 weeks with my tent on this site this summer. All in all, I have to say it's decent, but there were a few things that seriously bothered me. It started with the welcome. We, 6 teenagers + 2 adults, were told in no uncertain terms that teenagers were not really wanted here and should leave straight away. But the pitch was booked etc., so we were given our pitch - but what a pitch. We were pushed off with our 2 large tents onto a marginal pitch with rock-hard, dry ground, making it virtually impossible to pitch the tent correctly. Furthermore, the pitch had a slope, which is also not exactly advantageous. Another point of criticism is the crowd. From 9 or 10 o'clock at the latest, the site is deserted. If you're planning to spend relaxing evenings outside with a glass of wine, you should think twice. On the subject of peace and quiet, I also think it's worth mentioning that the site is in the middle of the approach path of a military airfield, which is why planes fly over the site at low altitude all day long. On a positive note, the proximity to really beautiful sandy beaches is worth mentioning, as are the sanitary facilities, which unfortunately close at 10 o'clock in the evening, but are very, very clean. Those who appreciate peace and quiet will be happy at Les Embruns, otherwise it's better to look for something a little livelier.
