- Stefan P.July 2021PositiivsedVery friendly operator family from the Netherlands.NegatiivsedI would have liked to bathe in the river, but that is only possible to a limited extent.Mega friendly, quiet, super clean. The site is a pleasant size. There were two of us with two Harleys and two tents. We received a very friendly welcome and had a free choice of pitch. Despite the late check-in, we were still able to shower and eat in the restaurant. We would love to come back here.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Ekkehard D.July 2016PositiivsedFamily pitch, ideal for childrenNegatiivsedLoud, remote and poor mobile phone coverageFamily place far away from everythingThe campsite in Le Vernet is a family campsite mainly used by Dutch families. With a large meadow for tents and play areas, a small pool on the site and a larger swimming pool directly across the road, as well as many, somewhat smaller pitches, it offers families with children everything they could wish... for. The site is "firmly in Dutch hands" and the majority of guests come from the Netherlands, as does the owner couple. Consequently, all signage is bilingual in French and Dutch. The restaurant on site was well frequented, but not used by us. Bread can be ordered for breakfast. The mobile phone coverage is at its limit. During the day there was hardly any access to mobile internet from the campsite. This is better in the town center due to a slightly larger selection of providers. However, all internet traffic is routed via the base station on the Blayeul and this is obviously significantly overloaded. The WiFi access was out of my price range. The memorial to the crashed Germanwings flight is also located near the campsite. One man's joy is another man's sorrow. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, the tranquillity of the mountains and to be as alone as possible, this is not the place for you. In this respect, because the campsite in Barles is closed, we landed by chance and soon left again. For families whose children want to make new friends and fall into their tents in the evening, this is certainly one of the best places to be found.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
