- Lars V.October 2024PositiivsedLargely quietNegatiivsedSteep terrainUsed for an overnight stayWe used this campsite for an overnight stay. Attention when approaching the CP: there is a road which may ONLY be used by vehicles up to 3.5 tons. The police also monitor this and stand somewhat hidden in the traffic circle to see who is using this road. This "shortcut" saves you having to drive through... the whole town.
The motorhome/caravan pitches are located in the upper part of the campsite. If you want to go to the beach, you have to be very good on foot. There is also a supermarket in the town. It is quite expensive and you have to be good on foot here too.
During our stay it was quite stormy and slightly rainy. A nearby radio mast starts to whistle when the wind gets a bit stronger. It can be very annoying when this radio mast whistles like a recorder all night long. Some pitches are also fully exposed to the wind and the motorhome rocks all night long.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach in high season. You can use the upper gate of the campsite with your dog to get to the path behind it. The gate opens with a card or pin which you receive when you check in.
When checking in, you will be asked for the dog breed!!!!
The supply/disposal area must also be approached with caution. Long motorhomes can touch down very quickly on the slope. A token (available at reception) is also required for fresh water/flushing water. I couldn't hit the drain for the gray water because otherwise my rear would have sat up again. Half of the gray water ran down the slope and past the gully.
The chemical toilet can be emptied at the supply/disposal station. However, you need a token to be able to flush the cassette toilet. You can also dispose of the cassette toilet free of charge in the ladies' toilet a few meters further on. Why can you only do this in the ladies' toilet?Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Lorenz P.July 2017Positiivseduncomplicated, close to the beachNegatiivsedSanitary facilities not all clean, steep terrain, not suitable for cyclists, no shopping facilitiesLarge, clean Cp close to the beachWe had not made a reservation and were given a friendly welcome. The campsite stretches upwards on a fairly steep slope. The mobile homes are in the lower area, then the permanent campers and we had the feeling that everyone else was accommodated at the top. There were also 2 vacation camps taking place... here. There are several sanitary facilities, unfortunately our feeling was that ours was not so well maintained and somewhat neglected... Not always clean, no toilet paper. The other houses were cleaner and there was toilet paper. The showers have to be paid for. The washrooms and showers are locked around 10.30pm. Unfortunately, I was asked to leave in a rather unfriendly manner, even though I was still brushing my teeth. In the morning a car with baked goods drives across the campsite, the honking didn't bother us. There are no other shopping facilities on the campsite. There is a swimming pool, which we didn't use, cost €1.50. As it is quite hilly here, it is not necessarily suitable for bicycles. The beach is a few minutes' walk away.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Falk J.August 2016PositiivsedCleanliness; sanitary facilities; proximity to the beach; swimming poolNegatiivsedSteep terrain on the site and in the surrounding area - difficult for cyclists; no shopping facilitiesClean and tidy, but no cateringVery clean and very good sanitary facilities. Dominated by mobile homes. Very steep incline, therefore difficult for bicycle tourists like us, including the approach in the surrounding area. Great: Swimming pool. Not good: No shopping facilities, but the baker drives across the site in the morning.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Karine H.July 2016Vacation ruined!!!My 8-year-old daughter was playing on the neighboring pitch with her friends when she fell through a PLASTIC manhole cover (a cover in front of each mobile home that allows waste water to drain away). No accident report was made! Arrived on Saturday 16/07/16 and left on Thursday 21/07/16, the day of... the accident! No arrangement or refund! I would like to point out that we arrived at a campsite that was under construction (construction of a very beautiful swimming pool) with all the inconveniences that this entails (noise, trucks coming and going, dust and early mornings) but at no time was this reported to us at the time of rental!! nothing!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Sv N.June 2015Small but nice place without the hustle and bustleOur first stop in France and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities. Great view of the sea. Short walk to the wide beach and the dog could run free. If we come here again, it will certainly be our first choice. And really cheap with the ACSI card.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Bernt M.August 2012Pros: Beautiful location, no mass tourism, friendly staff, well-kept site, very cheap at approx. 21 euros per night for pitch/caravan Cons: Showers for 45 cents/per minute (!!!), sanitary facilities old but clean, noise pollution every morning around 8 a.m. from honking cars driving across the site and offering baked goods and the like, places worth seeing are a little outside EquihenAutomaatselt tõlgitud.
