- Karien V.September 2023PositiivsedNice and quiet areaNegatiivsedOur items got stolen.Stolen itemsBe careful when camping here because your things might get stolen. It happened to us, the concierge tried helping us but apparently they couldn't see anything on the CCTV while the camera was definitely pointing to the area our stuff got stolen....I suspect foul play.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

- Frits S.May 2018PositiivsedNice place, beautiful surroundingsNegatiivsedFor 10 days not once pleasantly showered: cold and just suddenly boiling(!!!)-wifi often broken-the baker does not come when he should be there.....terribly unreasonable receptionPaying in advance is fine, but add that if you leave earlier you won't get anything back. That is essential with this rule. They REALLY DO NOT do that! Better to come and pay every day. We paid a longer period in advance and NOTHING was said to us. Due to a death we had to leave early. Pay back? HOW!... I managed to convince madam that we had been told nothing about the strange rule of no refund. She called a superior and after that conversation she promised me with a smile that I could come and collect the money the next day from 10 am. The next day there was only a bill on the counter: No refund. SHAME, especially after that promise. A fierce protest email led to nothing: "These are the rules all over France!" What nonsense! We have NEVER experienced anything like this! Choose ANY campsite around there, but NOT THIS one!Automaatselt tõlgitud.

- Helmut S.August 2013We visited this place for 14 days in August 2013. There is not much to add to the rating of "Jugger 64" in 2013 and it is still worth its 3 stars. However, the toilets, especially the showers could be cleaned better. It often happened that the shower water did not drain and you stood in soapy water.... The site is otherwise well-kept and enhanced with flowers, as almost everywhere in France. The site is only signposted with the narrow, elongated signs that are common in France. If you look up the right directions on Google Maps, I don't think it's a problem if you avoid the town center. The site is located directly on the Meuse, but is separated by a hedge, so you can't actually see anything of the river. Too bad. The Meuse is also navigable here, but is usually only used by pleasure boats. However, no boats pass by the campsite because they shorten the loop around the village through a tunnel. There is also a nice lounge with television (French), but no restaurant. The restaurant in the village itself is also very unspectacular. Presumably the whole region is in a state of upheaval. You can increasingly see that the local slate industry has collapsed, as has heavy industry, mainly foundries. The area along the French Meuse is unexpectedly scenic. The Meuse meanders through the wooded mountains and is really romantic in some places. It is well worth a visit for a short break.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Norbert G.August 2011The municipal site has earned its three stars and stands out not only because of its extremely low rates. However, the price level is very low throughout the Meuse valley. Camping Municipal Les Bateux is located between the river and the local sports field on the edge of the village. This combines an... extremely quiet location with proximity to the village, which is within easy walking distance. Access through the narrow streets of the village could be a little problematic for larger caravans or motorhomes. The reception is friendly and the sanitary facilities are good. The whole site is very well laid out, with large plots separated by hedges. Depending on the pitch, some of the trees provide shade. The path to the wash building can be very long the further you get to the end of the site, as the sanitary facilities are located at the entrance. There is a small playground, two table tennis tables and a table football table. The baker comes to the site in the morning.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
