The campsite was fully booked. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed and neither the beach nor the campsite seemed crowded. It should be noted that the shore directly in front of the campsite is very muddy. You sink in up to your knees! The adjacent beach is better. However, bathing shoes are recommended (stony). Everything seems to go at a slower pace and, above all, much more relaxed than usual. That did us all a lot of good. The children were not overstimulated and had time to enjoy playing. There are many... excursion options: Bear park, chairlift rides and mountain hikes, waterfall, fortress or simply swimming and canoeing on the lake. There is little to add to Harald's comment. You can get baked goods in the cheese dairy opposite the campsite entrance (it's open at 8:00 although the door sign says otherwise). There is also a lake shore on the "right" side of the sunbathing... lawn, but you should not go into the lake after 2 meters you sink into the mud up to your knees, I had to sacrifice my bathing shoes during the escape, otherwise I might have sunk even deeper. Somewhere there was a sign with a lot of French text, but I can't say whether it pointed out the dangers. A pictogram would be better. This does not happen on the left-hand side, i.e. in front of the motorhome site. There is also a boat hire shop where you can hire pedal boats or electric boats. If we had said straight away: for 2 nights, we would have stayed there, but we didn't want to change pitches and so we drove on. Small store with the essentials for daily needs. Very clean and well-kept site. Sanitary facilities old, but in very good condition, many showers... and toilets available. Washing up and waste disposal also available. Ping-pong tables old, but enough for the vacations. Possibility to relax on the sunbathing lawn in front of the campsite on the shore. Road with very little traffic and approx. 500m away. No stores directly accessible by bike, or not available. Bus connection 2-3 times a day. Larger town approx. 20km away, where you can find everything. Groundsman very friendly and helpful.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
