Except for a swimming pool and playgrounds, there is not much to do at the campsite. Outside you can hike, mountain bike, visit cities, etc...

We found it a bit cramped for 4, with 2 children (8 and 14), perhaps more suitable for families with smaller children.

Camping is clean, very neat and courteous staff and has everything for a very relaxing vacation. The site is beautifully laid out. The only drawback was the building site. A new sanitary building is being built here. So that's actually a plus point because it has to be done at some point :) The swimming pool is of course a highlight... for the children and you have free entry as a camping guest. The staff were always friendly and helpful! This campsite is perfect for families, but I think it's also great for couples who like to relax and go hiking. Swimming pool was not usable.Nice place but with flawsWe were there with 2 families over the Ascension Day long weekend. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the staff are really nice and open to questions and complaints. The site itself is beautifully situated and you can start hiking tours into the Müllertal valley directly from there. The pitches... are clean and relatively large. The terrain is terraced and well shaded by large trees, which is very advantageous in high temperatures. The swimming pool itself could not be used because there was a technical problem, which of course really annoyed our children and us parents at over 30°!!! We specifically chose a campsite with a swimming pool and this information was withheld from us when we checked in. We then had to drive the kids an extra 15 km to the neighboring CP. Which was of course a hassle. The sanitary facilities were in a very questionable condition (very old, non-functional and dirty), as there was a newer building on the site and this was not accessible for the first few days, daily personal hygiene was a challenge......., which also affected washing up. It was only after a complaint that things were improved there...., although the newer building was also opened. In addition, there was no water available at the campsite for the first few days, so the water we needed always had to be taken from the sanitary building. According to the responsible groundsman...., these shortcomings are to be rectified in the coming months. A new sanitary building is planned and various other renovations will be carried out. If these shortcomings are really rectified, it will be a lovely site worth recommending. Shopping facilities are about 15 km away, a bakery is only a few minutes' walk away (also on Sundays). We will gladly give the campsite another chance and spend a long weekend there.... PS: the operator was very understanding that the shortcomings were unacceptable and gave us a price reduction.
