You can start various bike tours there. The site itself offers a lot: a great restaurant where you can relax while the children climb, jump, play soccer or swim next door. Sometimes difficult to drive on for larger caravans. We did have a few problems there with the double-axle vehicle. The exit is uphill on gravel. We even got stuck with two-wheel drive. And the ground was dry. There is a nice restaurant for the more discerning, but also a snack... bar. But you can't sit there. You just take your food with you. The store only has the essentials. Very nicely laid out complex overall, especially the pool area. Rita C.November 2011Finding an open campsite at the beginning of November was not easy. That's why we were all the more pleased with the friendly welcome we received. We were provided with lots of information material and were able to choose a pitch of our choice. Camping Roland is an ideal starting point for wonderful... walks in the Maasduinen National Park. - Julia R.June 2010I didn't think the week was cool! We wanted to watch the World Cup in the restaurant, but instead it had a wedding party and we guests were supposed to go to the cellar!!! That's not good for a 5-star place! Also, the restaurant was only open at very limited times. We wanted to go on vacation with "nice food" and laze around. It was probably nothing.
