We booked and received a "Panorama & Maxi Comfort" pitch. Unfortunately, we couldn't see much of the panorama as there was a large tree directly in front... of us. There are a lot of (too) large trees on the site, which make TV reception impossible on many pitches and provide a lot of shade.
Sanitary facilities are clean, but outdated and there are clearly too few showers and toilets in relation to the size of the pitch. The range in the store should be a bit larger. I have never paid 75 Ct. p/kWh on any pitch!!!
In addition, switching on and reading the electricity is quite complicated.
In summary, I can say that this is a pretty decent campsite, but in my opinion it doesn't deserve 5 stars. Some of the "old" pitches are very small and sloping. For us, only the new, large pitches would be an option, as we like to have a bit more space and are prepared to pay a bit more for it.
Nice and sufficient swimming... pond, very well maintained.
Showers without shower tokens or similar nonsense!
Electricity is charged according to consumption, which makes it impossible to pay the bill in advance. It was positive that in the morning an employee read all the meters of the pitches whose users were leaving that day and these were already available for billing.
The fee for the use of W-LAN is antiquated. Today, this is actually a service that is taken for granted.
A note in the toilet that no paper may be taken from the towel dispenser made us smile. Those who want to do so are not deterred by the ban - and everyone else doesn't do it anyway.
A short 30-minute walk across the vineyard opposite the campsite entrance takes you to the Ziegelhof ostrich restaurant. Make sure you take large Tupperware containers with you! Huge portions that are also absolutely delicious! Reservations are absolutely essential.

It can also be cheaper. What doesn't work at all is the men's shower, I was in the middle shower and got all the wash water from the two adjacent showers on my feet. Something like that is disgusting.Normal campsite, but not a 5 star siteThe place is actually very nice, good and large pitches laid out in terraces with a beautiful view of the vineyards.
The paths are all asphalted and wide enough.
We felt comfortable there, but I think the site is a bit expensive. We've been to a few campsites in the Black Forest that weren't expensive....
The operators are very friendly, you can order bread rolls throughout the week and buy some things in the small store.
It's not very far to the nearest supermarket, but there's not much on offer in the village itself.

Some pitches are directly parallel to the highway and therefore noisy. Sanitary facilities always clean and tidy, but are outdated and nothing to feel comfortable in. Swimming pool character.
Despite lockdown, the operators did not manage to clean... the pool and fill it with water. During our stay of 1 week, the high-pressure cleaner stood motionless in the same place. On departure you could only pay in cash due to a technical defect. Many guests only found out about this when they checked out. There are bread rolls and a few small items such as shower gel, coffee, etc. edeka is in the immediate vicinity.
Staufen is about 5 km away and Freiburg about 20 km, easily accessible by train (Konus Karte)

The sanitary facilities were very clean and the corona regulations were excellently organized. The pitches all have electricity and water connections and, like the swimming pond, are beautifully... laid out, tidy and clean. Waste is disposed of in a covered, well-ventilated shed (waste separation: yellow bag, glass, paper, organic waste garbage can and residual waste). Gas bottle exchange 5 kg, 11 kg aluminum and steel bottles and Camping Gaz possible, but for 5 kg bottle 16.99 € quite expensive. It's almost worth the trip to a DIY store. You can't hold the operator responsible for the weather, but you can for the water not draining away after rainfall. The pitches from 101 to 120 are located in the lower area of the site, unfortunately the rainwater drains off very badly. when I asked the operator about this, I got the answer: I know that the company that prepared the site had made a mess of it, and Corona has not yet enabled him to change that. If you don't have any income, you can't invest. According to campers who have been on the site for several years told me that the site was created about 5 years ago.

There is a supermarket in short distance down the road. No real complaints. - The bathrooms, though clean, are not the most modern or spacious.A nice, quiet campsiteThis was a lovely stay in a quiet campsite. The reception was friendly and accommodating. There is a small kiosk/bar area at the reception where one can have drinks in the evening (also outside). Also a small natural pool with a cute fountain.
There is a good hygiene concept for limiting the number... of people in the sanitary facilities: 5 each marmelade jar tops are hung outside the bathrooms/showers for the men (blue) and women (red). You take one as you go in. If there are none available, you wait.
Closeby there is a football field with a pizzeria attached. We did not try this restaurant.
Be aware that you probably need a car or bicycle to reach most things. Closest market is approx. 800-900m.
Konuskarte allows you free regional travel. Sulzburg town did not hold much interest for us personally but nearby Staufen im Breisgau and Bad Krozingen were interesting to visit--not to mention Freiburg im Breisgau.

It is a small cozy place, the sanitary facilities were sufficient even under Corona conditions and always clean. Many complain that the shopping facilities and... the gastronomy offer on the site is not or insufficient (there are fresh bread rolls). About 900m away is a great Edeka with bakery and in the immediate vicinity some super Straußis. So there is everything you need nearby. The view of the vineyards from almost every pitch is wonderful. However, we soon realized that this good rating only applied to the motorhome pitches by the bathing pond. Many of the pitches on the campsite itself are not suitable for larger motorhomes, especially if the satellite dish is mounted... on the roof. Some of the new, additional pitches really do have a fantastic view, but they are located directly on a busy road, are unfortunately quite muddy and there is a higher step at the access road. With a larger bike rack on the towbar, you're on the road. If you were to extend this driveway, you could reduce the steepness and the "touchdown problem" would be gone. The sanitary building is really very clean. We think 4 showers and 3 sinks are a bit small. The shower cubicle is separated from the changing room by a swing door. That's great! But unfortunately this anteroom is extremely small. The wellness offer may be there, but somehow not really. There was no explanation as to why the special offers differed from those on the Internet. Staufen, Freiburg, the southern Black Forest, Mulhouse and the Sundgau are all within easy reach. There are many pubs in the immediate vicinity offering a variety of culinary delights at reasonable prices. The site operators... are extremely friendly, the pitches are very large and the sanitary facilities are well maintained and very clean.
