Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities smelled unpleasant.Good campsiteQuietly located campsite with paved pitches. Walking distance to the beach. Had relied on the location in the app and wanted to be close to the Grömitzer promenade. However, the location was about 50 min walk from the spa promenade. But was still a good campsite.

The campsite is in a very nice location, not far from the beach (approx. 150m). It has a playground, very clean and well-kept sanitary facilities and showers. You can go on great bike tours, take a lovely walk along the dyke and there is a delicious Greek restaurant about 25m away. - Birgit J.August 2019PositiivsedCleanliness, tranquillity, family-friendly course, few visitor spaces, high recreational factorNegatiivsedthere is one disadvantage, if any: the Lensterstrand is unfortunately cleaned too rarely by the municipality of GrömitzGreat campsite - we would love to come backA very family-run, very quiet and absolutely clean campsite. The few visitor pitches are in the immediate vicinity of the wash house. The wash house and the scullery were always clean, you never had to queue. We quickly made friends on the visitor pitches and felt very comfortable. The Lensterstrand... (natural beach) is just a few minutes away via the dyke. There is a free shuttle bus service from Lensterstrand to Grömitz and back. The beach promenade in Grömitz is beautiful and the beach is cleaned every day. Unfortunately, the Lensterstrand is badly neglected by the municipality of Grömitz, although here too the visitor's tax of 3 euros per day is payable at the HS. Of course, the campsites on Lensterstrand are not responsible for this, but the municipality of Grömitz really needs to do something about it. There are countless leisure activities for children in and around Grömitz, and of course many excursion possibilities in the surrounding area. We have been to Hamburg, Kiel and Lübeck, visited Fehmarn and the other Baltic seaside resorts in the area. It is also possible to use the coastal buses for 1 euro per trip with the Ostseecard (which you get automatically). The campsite itself has a small children's playground, but otherwise no kiosk and no restaurant, but this is not a problem, as there are many other campsites in the immediate vicinity, you can get bread rolls at the snack bar of CP Hohe Leuchte, and there are some smaller restaurants/snack bars in the immediate vicinity that are within walking distance. There is also no children's entertainment or the like at the campsite, we deliberately chose this campsite because we didn't need a fun program, our children are all grown up. However, if you want a lot of entertainment and lots of activities on a campsite, this is really the wrong place for you. Here you can sit together comfortably in the evening and chat with others. We can recommend this campsite to all those who like things to be unhectic, quiet and relaxing, who don't need a lot of "shish", but who value cleanliness in the sanitary facilities. The site wardens Caro and Mirco are friendly, helpful and very personable. The really good price for this location is of course another plus point. If you are careful, you can pull the... paper out of the dispenser as a continuous strip. The tenant couple are very friendly, helpful and the good souls of the place. Thomas G.June 2019PositiivsedQuiet, close to the beach, not far from the center of GrömitzNegatiivsedNo store, no snack bar, showers only with shower tokens, sanitary facilities unfortunately not suitable for children, toilet paper dispenser with single sheet dispenser...Quite okay for a weekendWe were guests at Campingparadies Neumann for 9 nights. The road to the campsite is equipped with braking bumps, so the caravan is really shaken up. But that's not the campsite's fault. Just as little as for the tourist tax. This is charged by Grömitz, but the beach was full of washed up algae and it... smelled disgusting at times. The campsite is dominated by permanent campers. We had a pitch for our caravan that is actually intended for motorhomes. Accordingly, there was no waste water connection on the pitch. No matter, the sanitary building can be reached quickly.... The sanitary building was usually quite clean. Once a day it was closed for two hours for cleaning. Access only possible with a chip. Showering is only possible with shower tokens. Approx. 5 minutes for 1 euro. The water switches off approx. every 50 seconds and has to be switched on again. The water also switches off at the washbasins every few seconds and has to be reactivated. We didn't know this from other campsites. Unfortunately, there wasn't a washbasin at a height suitable for small children. There was also no way to dry your hands after washing them. There was no electric hand dryer and no paper either. But the best thing was the toilet paper. This comes from a dispenser, single-ply and sheet by sheet. And crumpled up into a strand as it comes out of a tiny hole in the dispenser. If you tear it off flush, that's the end of the fun;) then you can't get at it any more.... The playground is well equipped with a trampoline and is well maintained. There is no store or snack bar, you can buy bread rolls at the neighboring campsite. In principle, it is a beautifully located campsite with friendly staff.
