If you need entertainment, you've come to the wrong place!
Great and always clean sanitary facilities, which could also... be due to the relatively low occupancy at our time.
You can go on great bike tours from here. A very hot tip: to the Fischer Kagel on the Arendsee!

There is a small kiosk in reception where you can order bread rolls. There is a coffee machine and ice cream. You can also buy sweets, newspapers/magazines, drinks and the most basic groceries (mainly tinned food), as well as a few camping items. Gas bottles can... also be exchanged. The site is quite large, but well divided into many smaller areas so that the size is not noticeable. The pitches are spacious. There are shady pitches under trees and sunny pitches without shade. The playground is very simple and doesn't offer much. But there is a municipal water playground opposite the site. And next door is a thermal spa. Guests have discounted entry. There is also a bistro there, which you can probably reach in the same way (i.e. without paying admission). But we didn't go there ourselves. The sanitary buildings were older. One of the toilets didn't have a cubicle door, but everything else was fine. The cleanliness was good. But I don't understand why the cleaning is done at 8 in the morning. To shower you need shower tokens which last for 7 minutes. When you turn off the water, the time stops running. I thought that was very good. One shower token is easily enough. I didn't see any cooking facilities. But I didn't look at all the sanitary buildings. There are three of them.
The bathing lake and the town center with a few stores and restaurants can be reached in no time by bike. It's also easy to reach on foot. There is an EDEKA in the village.
We liked it and can imagine coming back for a long weekend. However, we wouldn't spend our annual vacation there. It's a large site with many areas, both parceled out and available as a large meadow. But: I don't understand why the tent meadow has to be as far away as possible from the sanitary facilities while the mobile homes are right next to it. The fact that the sanitary... building closest to the tent meadow was cleaned in the morning and then a further walk was necessary doesn't exactly lead to satisfaction either. I'm only writing this because you have to write something.Very nice campsiteThe site itself is spacious, relatively large but thanks to the good sanitary facilities and, in my opinion, quite large pitches, you are undisturbed and rarely have to wait in the sanitary block.
The staff are super nice and courteous, the store has all the essentials, but the town is not far away and the first supermarket is about 900m away.
I've been there several times and it's always nice.

Instead of spending the night in the tent field, we were told that we had to take a pitch for €28.80 because it was equipped with a drinking water connection.
We were told to use the drinking water connection to brush our teeth, as this is not allowed in the sanitary facilities.... We were only allowed to use the sanitary facilities to go to the toilet and shower. When we checked in, we signed that we would be expelled if we disregarded the instructions listed on two pages.
We didn't need either the drinking water connection or the electricity connection and yet we paid more than twice as much as on around 100 other pitches in 2019 and 2020.
Such an interpretation of the hygiene measures can really spoil your trip. Fortunately, we have never experienced this again in Germany in recent weeks.
In addition, understandably and expectedly, most of the other activities with which this park 'in the middle of nowhere' advertises were of course not usable: price-performance ratio :-(Automaatselt tõlgitud.- Margrit V.May 2020PositiivsedA wonderful site close to nature. I can't say what it's like during the summer vacations. The campsite is kept very clean, as are the sanitary facilities, the pitches are reasonably sized and have all... the connections as described. The WLAN reception was bumpy at the beginning, but was quickly fixed. Shopping facilities and restaurants nearby. Many thanks to the campsite operator and his very friendly staff for a lovely stay. But a super nice welcome at reception. Very spacious site with sufficient and above all clean sanitary facilities. Dog owners can leave the site through special gates to go into the adjacent forest. We felt very comfortable with two people and a dog and will... definitely be back. If you really want to put on 800 sandpaper for the purpose of improvement, shower tokens are no longer "up to date".
