WC's completely outdated, the entire site has missed the leap from the 70s and 80s. There is no registration, the office is a basket on a bicycle and the permanent campers think they are demigods. Unfortunately, there is only one ⭐️für the proximity to the water.
A very outdated campsite
A new operator would have a lot of work.
It wouldn't be bad if the kiosk was open for longer.

Good location, but one would have to invest
We were on the site over Ascension Day. Registration is only possible by telephone via the groundskeeper, but it worked perfectly.

General information:
Due to the corona crisis, the tourist area was only sparsely occupied, which left plenty of space to play. The site is relatively flat and made of grass... (at least something like that). There is no water or waste water in the tourist area, you have to get it from the sinks. Electricity is available centrally and is billed by the kWh.

Sanitary facilities:
You had to have a key with you to access the sanitary facilities. Every other toilet was locked and there were only 2 showers. That's just what the crisis brings. However, from our point of view it is unacceptable that there is no toilet paper (and no possibility to put down your own paper). The toilets should have been cleaned more frequently, especially in these times. In addition, the women's toilets smelled unpleasant and there was no soap. The showers were immediately warm and had good water pressure, but the cubicles were small and you only had the opportunity to put your clothes down in the anteroom of the cubicles.

Location:
The campsite is in a great location. There is a small sandy beach right next to it (500 m further on there is another slightly larger beach). You can cycle or hike around the lake (approx. 10 km) or you can also swim. The water wasn't crystal clear, but it didn't bother us.
There is a small kiosk and a restaurant on site. As we didn't use either, I can't say anything about them.
There is a large and beautiful adventure playground in front of the campsite. We also really liked the climbing forest.
Beautiful surroundings for cycling, playing, walking, etc.

Conclusion:
The site is very reasonably priced and has a great location. If you were to invest something, it would be a great place if the "plots" were left as spacious as they were for us. Sanitary .... see above.
We will not come again

Beautiful place with potential
It's a nice place with great leisure facilities and the sanitary facilities are a bit older but definitely clean. What bothers me is the lack of information on the internet. I only heard about the ban on charcoal barbecues when I lit my barbecue briquettes. You can get other information on site or ask... the noticeably unpleasant groundskeeper, but you get answers from her, but you get the feeling that she has no desire for transit campers. She is absolutely no advertising for this beautifully situated site, which is a great pity. There are limited shopping opportunities on site, there are sweets, ice cream, beer and schnapps as well as chips, sausages etc. There is also a restaurant at the hotel next door. A small beach can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. A great place with children as you can go for a lot of walks, the Thüle animal park is nearby and a big plus is the adventure playground right next to the campsite.
