Although the boss sometimes looks a bit grumpy, he is very friendly. We can only recommend it. :-)NegatiivsedThere are none.With the tent for the 7th year in a row.Many thanks to the campers who lent us valves for our inflatable boat. (I had forgotten to pack them.) The specialties from the small butcher's shop in the food market in Mardorf are a highlight on our barbecue every year. Nice pitches available which are big enough. Approx. 15 minutes from the Steinhuder Meer. There are many places to stop for refreshments. Very quiet campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. The sanitary facilities were ok, but nothing more. It was fine for two nights with my child; I wouldn't book... this site as a family with a caravan. The site is close to the edge of the forest. There is a playground (which could be redesigned) and a well-stocked kiosk where you can get almost... everything. You can also pre-order bread rolls for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
What was good, but a bit slow, was the WLAN that you can book for a small fee.
Clean sanitary facilities. And not far from the beach.

We were instructed to stand very close together, as there was room for at least three more vehicles. On the last day, a caravan with an awning stood very close in front of us and completely blocked our view. I... didn't understand why, because there were other parceled-out pitches available. The sanitary area was clean throughout our stay and everything was in good working order. However, it is unclear to me how the campsite got four stars, three would be more appropriate.
