The high price doesn't even include hot water for the shower or washing facilities, so we were charged again. The beach is a nature reserve, which apparently justifies the fact that all driftwood and greenery is simply left lying around. Early in the morning, the garbage collection service comes noisily and wakes everyone up.Overpriced campsite with many shortcomingsWe also visited 10 different campsites during our 4-week camping trip. This campsite was by far the worst in terms of value for money. No rest periods!Not for those seeking peace and quietUnfortunately did not meet our expectations in terms of peace and relaxation. This was in no way due to the campsite guests. Both the day campers and the permanent campers kept to the quiet times and the noise level on the campsite during the day was quite normal, as is usual. Only at the nearby kiosk... with outdoor terrace was it loud and the later the evening the louder it got. Very good location of the campsite for cycling around Lake ConstanceAutomaatselt tõlgitud.- Steffen R.June 2019PositiivsedDirectly on the lake, idyllic locationNegatiivsedSometimes wild traffic near the passing road.A great discoveryWe were spontaneously looking for an opportunity to spend a few days at Lake Constance and were already happy to be able to stay here for two nights and they immediately tried to make it possible for us to stay another two nights. Great commitment, well managed. The site is quite "out there", in a nature... reserve, but beautiful and right on the lake, which is still shallow and manageable for a very long time, great for swimming and canoeing. The staff are very friendly and the positive atmosphere is passed on to the guests. It was a very pleasant stay. By bike you are immediately on the Lake Constance cycle path, excursions to the mouth of the Rhine or to Bregenz are possible. In the evening, a beer on the terrace with a view of the small harbor and the lake is the perfect way to end the day. There are two restaurants (one on site, one within walking distance) for culinary delights. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the village (only by bike or car). The tourist pitches are in pitch format (see dimensions table). The sanitary facilities are simple and clean. The restaurant is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can now pay by card everywhere.... Annoying but not really bothersome is the noise (idiots revving their power bolides) of the guests from the PP. In my opinion, one of the three best places on Lake Constance right next to Lindau and Egnach. Friendly, helpful staff. Very small pitches. When full, I wouldn't want to be there. Clean and practical sanitary facilities, but quite far away from the pitches, which meant running the gauntlet every time through the many permanent campers. Excellent restaurant and... good kiosk - friendly and pleasant staff here too. The highlight of the site is its location in a wonderful natural setting. The site is actually quiet, but the parking lot of the busy restaurant is right next to the day pitches, including a car with a permanently blaring alarm system. The showers and toilet facilities are modern and well maintained. Unfortunately, there... are no real shopping facilities on the campsite. Just a small kiosk with a few snacks, sweets, coffee and drinks in small bottles and the restaurant. The nearest shopping facilities are 4km away. Difficult with children and a camper! The possibility to eat in the restaurant is pointed out. Card payment is only possible for the pitch itself or in the restaurant mentioned, but not for the kiosk or additional costs, such as the hot water used, which is charged at the end. Take enough cash with you, otherwise there will be an additional loop to the village. We got the impression that it was a restaurant with a campsite.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

I got a pitch because there was enough space out of season and still only had to pay the tent rate. The staff were very friendly and always available to answer questions. The access to the lake is very nice. I was a bit annoyed that you had to pay for hot water and that there was a radio playing in one of the sanitary facilities - that was rather unpleasant. There was no hairdryer. We received a friendly welcome at reception. Dinner on the restaurant terrace with a view of the lake was great! The natural landscape is beautiful! Disadvantage: The tents are placed between caravans and permanent tenants.... We had a lot of noises in the tent all night that shouldn't be there (whether from partying permanent tenants or from any other noises from a caravan) - otherwise it would have been very quiet. Unfortunately, I was unable to submit a review at the time because "Camping Salzmann Rohrspitz" was not listed in Campinginfo. It is possible that this has now happened following my intervention! Nevertheless, after... two years, I would like to take the liberty of giving an assessment of the site, which I find very suitable as an overnight stop for cyclists. The sanitary building is practically furnished and clean. The pitches for the tents are debatable, but I was allocated a very nice day pitch at the time. The restaurant on site was excellent! New review summer 2016: In August 2017, I wanted to stay at this campsite again with my bike and tent. As the site was fully booked, even a tired cyclist with a mini tent had no chance and was ruthlessly turned away.
