- Doris K.July 2023PositiivsedLocation, shade, cleanliness, not overcrowdedNegatiivsedsomewhat outdatedEverything is wonderful!Fine and cozy campsite, very simple and uncomplicated - both at the registration and the rest of the handling. All in all, the site looks a little dated, but it is clean and everything important is available!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Michael P.July 2021PositiivsedTop serviceNegatiivsedNo disadvantages foundWonderful vacationA small campsite with a good location for excursions to the Saale/ Unstrut wine region and sparkling wine cellars in Erfurt and Leipzig/ Halle is easily accessible. The team at the campsite is very friendly and flexible. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Marcel T.July 2020PositiivsedFriendly operator Cleanliness Simple and clearNegatiivsedCash payment only Shower tokens requiredSimple and cozy! The campsite may not be the most modern, but everything is clean and well laid out. We were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner by the operator.
The whole site still has the charm of a bygone era, when people still paid with marks. In fact, cashless payment is not possible and you need... shower tokens to shower.
The outdoor pool right next door can be visited at a reduced rate for campsite guests. Here, too, payment is only possible with cash, but it's worth it.
All in all, I felt reminded of camping in my childhood. The stay was also great for my kids. Definitely a recommendation!Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Michael B.May 2018PositiivsedQuiet, very scenic, friendly, warm, generous, good wine, romance, soccer, tennis, adventure pool, open fire possible.NegatiivsedShowers with coins, no heated sanitary facilities, no shopping on the pitch,Pure relaxation, peace, romance, wine, friendliness, idyllWe live in Freiburg on the edge of the Black Forest and the Kaiserstuhl. We are spoiled, looking for peace and quiet, some culture, good wine and friendly people on vacation. At first glance, Saxony-Anhalt doesn't seem to be the first choice for this. We embarked on the experiment of spending two weeks... at Whitsun. It was a complete success. Heavenly peace, birdsong in all its variations, a spacious campsite, very generous unparceled pitches. Clean sanitary facilities, a very dedicated, friendly groundsman. We were impressed by the wine from the Saale-Unstrut region. The vineyards around Freyburg are idyllic. The cathedral in Naumburg is a Romanesque gem. Right next to the campsite is the very attractive outdoor adventure pool, next to the Waldhotel with its sophisticated but somewhat expensive gastronomy. In culinary terms, the area around Bad Bibra does not meet the high expectations of southern Baden, but it is usually much cheaper and more down-to-earth. I have to say, the vacation was a complete success and compared to the south of France, the whole trip was strangely better if you can do without the sea.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Achim K.July 2017Positiivsednice operator Proximity to canoeing watersNegatiivsednone foundGreat serviceWe stayed at the campsite with two dogs in July 2017 and were very satisfied. Mr. Schaepmann's goal is to give his camping guests a nice vacation and he manages to do that. He is always available. The bread roll service is excellent. The nearest supermarket is only a few hundred meters away. And the proximity of the campsite to the Unstrut and Saale rivers is ideal for canoeists. So we will be back...Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Christian F.September 2016Positiivsedbeautiful grounds, spacious and clean outdoor pool right next to it ideal for children ideal starting point for excursionsNegatiivsedPoor local transport connections at the weekendSmall, quiet campsiteThe campsite is not very busy. You can therefore spread out nicely and have your peace and quiet. The site is well-kept and the grass is in great condition everywhere. Due to the slight slope, you can see the neighboring soccer field and have a great view. The site is ideal for children, as there is... a playground and they can also let off steam on the soccer pitch. Due to the small number of campers and the good view, you can always keep an eye on the children. There are also all the great excursion destinations for children in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities are quite new and very clean, otherwise a typical GDR campsite, which is not a problem at all, but rather an advantage. As this is a small campsite, there is no kiosk or snack bar. However, this is not a problem as you can easily go shopping in nearby Bad Bibra and there is a pub with outdoor seating and dancing/music right next to the campsite. The absolute highlight is that there is a lovely outdoor pool right next to the site. The operator and the permanent campers are very friendly. The location of the campsite is ideal for exploring Burgendland. You can start beautiful bike tours from here, visit pubs in Bad Bibra, Naumburg, Freiburg or Bad Kösen or take the children to the Kinderland Eckardsberga or the Memleben adventure park (you can easily spend a whole day in both). All the sights are only about 15 km away. The only drawback is the poor local transport connections at the weekend (bus only runs about 3-4 times a day). During the week the connection is okay, there is a direct hourly connection to the Unstrutbahn in Laucha (also every hour, direct change). This should be taken into account when planning cycling tours.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Michael E.July 2016PositiivsedQuiet. Great outdoor pool right next door. Pleasant permanent campers. Lots of great offers in the area.Time for the family in the middle of BurgenlandWe were here for 2 weeks in summer 2016. As there is so much to discover, we came back again in the fall vacations, even though we had to drive 400 km. It's not really for people who choose their pitch based on the most extensive inclusive services possible (which are then not used after all), but rather... the ideal place for active vacationers with children who don't want to spend their day on the pitch all the time, but also want to see the surrounding area. Which is not to say that the site has nothing to offer: directly adjacent is an outdoor pool with a loooong slide, two tennis courts and the local soccer pitches. Connection to the cycle path network. Within a radius of around 30 km there are castles without end (almost always with restaurants), a gigantic model railway, zoo, thermal baths with sauna area, summer toboggan run and, and, and. In addition, great, inexpensive food and friendly people everywhere. Mr. Schaepmann, the groundsman, was not too shy to climb onto the roof of a building to give our camping neighbor satellite reception by connecting his satellite cable to the system of a permanent camper. I've never seen anything like it! Just go there and feel at home!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Jörg W.July 2016PositiivsedThe proximity to the Balison outdoor pool (reduced admission for camping guests)NegatiivsednoneBeautiful, well-kept campsiteWe were instructed by the campsite operator. My power cable is only 25m long. He lent me a long reel. Friendliness and cleanliness are TOP! The sanitary facilities are no frills, clean and apparently can't be heated (we didn't see any radiators). There are shower tokens. The site does not have its own... kiosk. However, there is a bread roll service provided by the operator, an ice cream freezer for the children and beers for adults. The nearest supermarket is approx. 1 km away. There is also a three-star hotel right next door where you can eat out. The site is dominated by friendly permanent campers. In addition to the camping facilities, there are also bungalows for rent in a separate area. Pegs go into the ground very well (meadow and no gravel, driveways are graveled). There is also a small playground with a climbing frame, table tennis etc. In summer, the nearby BALISON baths (extra discount for camping guests) right next to the campsite are ideal for swimming. The site is also ideally located for excursions in the surrounding area (Nebra Sky Disk, Naumburg Cathedral, Freyburg Wine and Sparkling Wine Town, Wiehe Railway Exhibition, Memleben Monastery and Animal Park, Eckartsberga Leisure Park...). Conclusion: The price/performance ratio is right here and the friendliness is top. We've been to this campsite several times (2014, 2015, 2016) because it's only 80 km from home and we feel right at home.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
