The campsite has a good store and a good restaurant.
The pitch (Cotentin**; no. 5) was very large and WLAN was included. Cell phone reception is very weak.
The campsite is very sloping, but terraced, so the pitches are fairly... level.
Pool looked good, but we preferred to be in the sea.
The sanitary facilities are unisex and the cleaning is impeccable. However, the toilet paper was often not refilled, so there was no paper at any toilet.
Hiking trails run past the CP. We didn't see this as a disadvantage, but others might. The site is large, but only a small part of the pleasantly large pitches are reserved for campers, the... rest are shared accommodation. More and more emphasis is being placed on luxury, which is why it has been expanded.

What makes it special, however, is its fantastic location on the Atlantic. You have a view of the sea from almost everywhere and you can reach the incredible sandy beach in a sheltered bay via a small bridge.... This is a great place for swimming and water sports. There are beautiful coastal hiking trails and other rugged cliffs and fine sandy beaches to discover in the surrounding area.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

WLAN is free, not good or in the paid version! We treated ourselves to 4 devices for 2 weeks, for 50€!!! WLAN still unstable!!! Mobile data or telephone network are not accessible at all... so cut off from the outside world on the pitch... Sanitary... facilities not separated by gender, they are cleaned constantly and mainly during rush hour, when at least half of them are closed off! In the showers you have to jump back and forth under the jet to get wet! We switched to the disabled and baby showers, which were reasonably okay... Of the 6 sinks in the upper sanitary building, 2 !!! hot water... The pool has an outdoor and indoor pool, actually very nice, my daughter also enjoyed the little slide. Unfortunately there is a lot of dirt in the indoor pool... The beach or the bay is beautiful, only the climb back to the campsite is strenuous, but doable...Automaatselt tõlgitud.

The reception was very friendly and spoke perfect German. Of the three sanitary buildings well distributed around the site, the middle one was open, which was perfectly adequate given... the low occupancy rate. The fairly large cabins with washbasins and showers were also clean and had good storage facilities. The pitches were mostly very large and imaginatively planted. Many had a sea view, which was definitely worth the small surcharge. In the upper part of the site, new, very modern mobile homes had just been built and pitches with their own sanitary facilities had been laid out. It all looked very promising. You can easily reach the beach from the campsite via a partly steep path. The site is also ideal as a starting point for hikes, bike tours and day trips. Unfortunately you can not book a fixed place but only categories, has pros and cons,... for us it did not matter.For dog owners, the adjacent forest is great for walking, also ideal for hiking and mountain biking, sometimes very steep and rocky, hiking boots are really recommended.beautiful flora and fauna in the high moor above the CP. For shopping it is best to drive to Cherbourg about 15 minutes. there is everything you need. the indoor and outdoor pool are a good alternative to the sea also suitable for small children. the beach, on the other hand, is not so easy to reach with baby carriages ect. very steep and stony. What we also missed were dog waste bag dispensers and waste garbage cans, which unfortunately are not available on the whole campsite. The price of 5€ for the dog is not appropriate, but all in all the place has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, we will definitely come back.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

The site is great, but you can't choose your pitch. The site is very quiet and small and therefore very individual. The supermarket is very expensive and you can safely avoid the restaurant on site. It has a small store selling essentials at reasonable prices and a good pizzeria offering tasty, reasonably priced dishes. The sanitary facilities and pool area are very clean and well maintained and are cleaned several... times a day. The pitches are spacious and very well maintained. Larger supermarkets are (for us) only accessible by car (approx. 10 km). The path to the sanitary building was short and we had a wonderful view of the bay in the evenings and mornings. The cleanliness was very satisfactory and our three children were well catered for with... bouncy castles, table tennis, a playground and entertainment if they wanted it. The surroundings are a dream and the walk to the beach is short. We would definitely come back. Fantastic location overlooking the Atlantic, next to the forest with a small stream. Super well maintained, a small beach that was easy to reach. Large pitches that were very easy to reach. Many excursion possibilities in the slightly wider surroundings.... Team also very nice. Only the pizzeria on site (expensive, slow) is not recommended. There is a very small sandy beach. The pictures are deceptive, however,... because at low tide the beach disappears completely and you have to climb over very large boulders, which is not entirely without danger. A few kilometers further on, however, there are already very large sandy beaches. However, the area here is absolutely beautiful and is perfect for hiking. The town of Cherbourg is about 10 minutes away by car and offers many sights. Store at the store not extensive, but completely adequate, plus supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. Cherbourg very easy and quick to reach.
