We then used the other connection. Bad for late arrivals from 5 pm, then have to wait outside until the next day.Sweden vacation 6/2024Always happy to return. The attempt by telephone led to a Swede who spoke no German and no English. I was unable to contact the site itself. Maintenance of the facilities: The guest marina is simply unkempt. Wooden parts are rotting, metal parts are rusty, screws have... not been replaced. Sanitary facilities: A new building that is far too small. The toilet blocks on the site are approached. The staff walked around the cubicle once and then drove on. Cleaning did not take place. The old sanitary building deserves a maximum of one star and the term: stinking piss stall is not a linguistic derailment or insult.Automaatselt tõlgitud.- R. We used a pitch in the first row on the beach. We also have a rowing boat. The wash houses are good by Swedish standards. Unfortunately, with two toilets and showers, not many. However, the season was coming to an end for us. It got quieter from day to day. Children... have a great playground on the beach and a bouncy cushion. The beach is great for swimming. Unfortunately, people came to the beach or lawn EVERY evening and held sessions there until deep into the night at a fairly loud volume without consideration. Some played football until midnight ... we didn't like that. And NO, these were NOT guests of the campsite. Therefore, do not choose the front row on the lawn, but on the beach towards the forest.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

Will definitely be back.Automaatselt tõlgitud.- René S.August 2017PositiivsedLocation on the lake, staff, nice place with various parking optionsNegatiivsedSanitary building no longer in the best conditionGreat campsite on the Vänern in SäffleWe stayed at this campsite for two nights in August 2017 and can definitely recommend it. There are fresh bread rolls (or some from the day before with a 50% discount), a small store, a great stretch of beach with shallow water and lots of hiking opportunities. The vacation homes are hardly or not at... all disturbing, the pitches are distributed differently on the beach, on the meadow, under trees etc.! The two wash houses are fine and functional. The cleanliness could be a little better, as could the state of maintenance. But everything works and there is even a sauna in the rear wash house. :) The staff are also friendly and the smaller purchases such as bread rolls can easily be paid for in cash. Oh yes and free W-LAN with a reasonable reception area and decent speed is also available. For children/young people there are pedal cars, mini golf and the like! You can also set off on a canoe trip or take an excursion boat across Lake Vänern.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

The reception was very friendly and helpful. The campsite is beautifully situated, right on the Vänern. The pitches are equipped with fresh water and waste water connections, some even have a TV connection.... The rear sanitary building is very old and was unfortunately totally filthy. We stood near the sanitary container close to the lake. Directly on the lake. Very suitable for children as the water is very shallow at the edge. Sanitary facilities are very outdated, but all work as far as we used them. There is a bus connection to the city, but only as a call bus. It is about 8 km by bike to the shopping center. There... is an activity center on the site. Whatever that means. Inside there is a table tennis table and a recreation room for younger guests. Games and books are available there. The site also has several hiking trails of varying lengths. Very suitable for walking. The dog beach is life-threatening for dogs, as there are only high rocks that are designated as a beach. I can't understand why the place is rated 4 stars. Very suitable for dog ownersNegatiivsedsomewhat outdated sanitary facilitiesPure naturePerfect in the low season for the equivalent of €18. Electricity, WiFi and showers all included. However, the sanitary facilities are getting on in years. The area around the campsite and the lake are simply stunning, especially in the current weather. More than enough pitches in the low season, even... at weekends. The campsite's own store (unfortunately only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings in the low season, as is the reception) is very well stocked, so be sure to do your shopping beforehand at Lidl at the last major junction before the campsite (you pass it automatically). The staff are also very friendly, but the reception in the NS is not always manned and you may have to pay in advance, unfortunately only with Visa or Mastercard. Compared to other Swedish campsites, SEK 370 per night is quite steep. However, we spent 2 nights at a campsite on Lake Silijan that belonged to the same group and had one more night free for 3 nights. Some of... the sanitary facilities are housed in containers. The pitches are generously parceled out and mostly equipped with electricity. The large campsite is divided into different areas (tent pitches, mobile homes, caravans and stuga). Permanent... tenants are located directly on the beach. There are a total of three different playgrounds for children. Various activities are also possible, including canoes and bicycles for hire. The sanitary facilities are a little far away, depending on the pitch. The pitches can be more or less flooded after rain, as there is rock or poorly draining material directly under the grass. Varied landscape (lake, reeds, meadows, forests). Lots of mushrooms and blueberries at the end of August. Very friendly staff. Divided into comfort, standard and tent pitches. Sanitary facilities are simple and functional. The bathing areas are easy to reach. Boat mooring and fish processing area available. Also suitable for anglers with a boat. Hiking/cycling is also possible. Unfortunately,... the rocky ground below the area is very disadvantageous. In dry times you can camp there. In heavy rain or after a short rainy season, mud-free camping is not possible. The seepage water drains off very badly. Facilities: pitches separated by numbers, water/waste water/electricity on site. If you can't stand a vacation without TV, there is even an antenna connection. For photo enthusiasts and romantics: sunsets on the lake cannot be seen from this side of the lake in summer. We would go there again.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
Frank H.June 2012After driving through the industrial area of Säffle, we were amazed to find such a beautiful site. Many pitches have water/sewage connections and some have a great view of the lake. Sanitary a bit older but good. Showers and hot water included. The site was still very quiet in the low season. There was not much on offer in the store but there is a Lidl supermarket at the exit from the town to the site.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
