Very quiet and well located for visiting Lille. We found Camping les Roses 22 km to the west. The site is located on a fishing pond and is dominated by permanent campers. Both the owners of the campsite and the permanent campers were extremely friendly. The pitches are large and there is shade. The sanitary... facilities are a little older, but very clean. There is no possibility to eat or shop at the site. However, the center of the beautiful village of Aubers is within walking distance and there is a good butcher, a small supermarket and a bistro where you can eat until about 7.30 pm. There is a tourist map of the area called "Weppes", which is very useful. We cycled around the region with this map. The large number of military cemeteries from the First World War is impressive. A few years ago, a modern museum was opened in the neighboring village of Fromelles (http://www.musee-bataille-fromelles.fr/?lang=en) 26 €Automaatselt tõlgitud.

It's better to go to Lille!Very nice campsiteVery nice, well-kept campsite with super friendly hosts. Many permanent campers, all very nice and helpful. Beautiful site, unfortunately a little lacking in infrastructure in the surrounding area (the essentials can be found in the village, about 15 minutes' walk away).
