- Bernd E.June 2019Space with a viewWe got one of the last places here quite late in the evening. It was already quite full, but somehow there's always a spot available. The sanitary facilities are ok. 10 Nok for about 4 minutes in the shower. Good wifiAutomaatselt tõlgitud.
- Cornelia S.September 2018Beautiful place in a quiet locationAccess is via a narrow road, crossing only partially possible. Clean sanitary facilities, showers only possible with tokens. Beautiful pitches on grass, some under fruit trees. Few pitches on paved ground. Partial view of the fjord.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Thomas H.June 2018PositiivsedBeautiful view, good for excursionsNegatiivsed-Campsite by the fjordWe chose the campsite to make our trip to Trolltunga from there. It's a good half hour from the site up to the Trolltunga parking lot. The shower and toilet facilities are spotlessly clean and the view of the fjord is superb.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Andreas K.May 2017PositiivsedSuper location, beautiful landscape, cleanliness, quiet location, friendliness of the operators.NegatiivsedAccess route narrow access roadNorway round trip May 2017Very nice place for the round trip as a stopover very well suited. Clean sanitary facilities and grounds. We rented a hut which was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The site is situated above the fjord (beautiful view)Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Kurt W.June 2016Positiivsedquiet, beautiful, surrounded by orchards, viewNegatiivsedApproach very narrow, sufficient passing places from the southSpace with a viewAt this point we would like to point out that cleanliness is good and that often a single guest can leave a huge mess behind. The campsite warden is not obliged to run after and clean up after everyone!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Marcus O.August 2015PositiivsedNice staff Fantastic locationNegatiivsedSanitary facilities should be cleaned more often.Great location above the fjordWe stayed there for 5 days and on the whole it was really nice. The location is fantastic, you have a fabulous view over the fjord. We chose the place for our hike to Trolltunga. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only big drawback from our point of view is the sanitary facilities. So far... they are fine, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. They are cleaned every day from 1 to 3 pm and are locked. Even the toilets! If you had to go to the toilet then, you would have a decent problem. From 3 p.m. onwards they are very clean, but due to the high fluctuation of "mayflies" - Trolltunga hikers - this is over very quickly. I would still recommend the site. Campers in particular have wonderful pitches under fruit trees. As far as catering is concerned, you can buy a few small items (the bare essentials) at the reception and you can order bread rolls for the following day until 10 pm.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Olaf K.August 2015Beautifully situated campsiteStaff: Super nice, friendly The view is fantastic. There are cherry trees all over the place, providing shade.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Ursula H.July 2015Scenic location, but narrow access roadA beautifully situated campsite above the fjord. You have to accept that the wash house spoils the view of the fjord. You can also walk a few steps and enjoy the view from above the fruit trees. I didn't notice any preferential treatment of Norwegians, as the person before me wrote. We were given a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own pitch.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Jürgen W.May 2015Beautiful location above the SörfjordBeautifully situated pitches under a variety of old cherry trees. Unfortunately, the view of the fjord and the mountains opposite is mostly blocked by the wash house and a few small huts. The sanit. The sanitary facilities are clean and the shower cubicles are spacious. Access to the site is only problem-free... without oncoming traffic, as is so often the case in Norway. Why not solve the problem by possible one-way street regulation? W-Lan free of charge on the entire site.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Uwe L.May 2015PositiivsedLocation and cleanlinessNegatiivsedElectricity only when on time, distances to supply and disposal rather long.Beautiful location, weak infrastructureA site that benefits from its fantastic location directly in apple orchards above the fjord. The best pitches were reserved for Norwegians. The meadow under the apple trees is very deep. Limited water supply. Electricity scarce. The path to the pitch is super narrow, feasible for caravans as long as no one comes towards you. What happens then, I don't know.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Richard M.July 2014PositiivsedLocation; fresh pastries at reception in the morning.NegatiivsedElectricity connections can be tight. No parcelling.Fantastic locationOn a terrain level approx. 100 meters above sea level and therefore a fantastic view of the fjord. Partly slightly sloping meadow with fruit trees. I can only agree with the other positive reviews.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Nero C.August 2013"Are we here in paradise?" was our first question at reception. "Some people think so!" was the answer. And it was quite understandable. After 2 1/2 weeks traveling through Sweden and Norway by motorhome, we have arrived here at our penultimate stop, in the "fruit chamber" of Norway, approx. 50 m above... the fjord facing SW. The enchanted access road is narrow, but beautiful and perfectly feasible, at least with a 6m motorhome. Due to the slightly remote location, you can't hear anything from the road below, just the occasional tractor or milk truck chugging past. The site is laid out almost like a fairy tale on an orchard, the pitches are freely selectable between the fruit trees or for campers and camper vans on the somewhat more open areas. However, you have a fantastic view over the fjord from everywhere and, despite the mountain opposite, sunshine until late in the evening. The site is slightly sloping, which may make it a little uncomfortable for tent campers. We were able to compensate for this shortcoming with our supports. As a "Wacken veteran", I can well imagine that it can quickly become muddy when it rains, as the meadow gets quite damp and deep even in good weather in the morning, but supposedly the farmer next door is prepared to provide towing services in an emergency. It's nice for the tent campers that the heavy vehicles don't fit under the low fruit trees and the pitches for the tents therefore remain undamaged. The sanitary facilities look good and clean, and in my opinion there are enough of them, although I don't know what the situation is like in the high season. Electricity is available along the entire outer edge of the site, but a cable reel is helpful (which you normally have with you in a camper van or motorhome). What is actually noticeable is that there are no chairs or tables for campers, so a large blanket and a good back are always helpful here :o))) Very positive: There are no permanent campers here, so the atmosphere is absolutely relaxed and international (we have had completely different experiences on many sites with a high proportion of permanent campers). Unfortunately, apart from ice cream, there is actually no opportunity to buy anything edible. You have to go "down" to the village for that. And the "down" is to be taken literally. One last word about WiFi: it is available, usually easy to access and also fast. There is a charge, but it is unlimited in terms of time and for an unlimited number of devices.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

- Jürgen K.June 2013I would like to add my voice to the many positive reviews. One of the most beautiful campsites we have visited. But the same applies here: arrive early to secure the best pitches.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Jensi L.August 2012Wonderful location, beautiful view over the fjord, the hiking trail to Nosi starts directly at the site - almost perfect. The sanitary facilities were clean, but there are definitely not enough showers. Overall, however, a recommendable site.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Stefan J.June 2012The location is really beautiful. Super wide view over the Sorfjord and a glacier. Large, shadeless, slightly sloping meadow and pitches between fruit trees. Sanitary facilities not bad, but water in the coin-operated showers not really warm. Annoying! Some small wooden huts for rent. Small kitchenette... and fridge opposite the reception. A lounge with TV above via an outside staircase. Access to the campsite narrow and steep, but doable. Big drawback: no food, not even bread rolls. You have to drive down to the village for this. It's best to stock up on enough food beforehand. Given the location and the sunshine, we'd love to come back!Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Gunnar L.June 2012The site is located above the Hardangerfjord. The pitches are idyllically situated under fruit trees. However, there is a slight lack of electricity. The sanitary facilities are no longer new, but ok.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Gg k.May 2012Very nice, well-kept site, good sanitary facilities. Great, quiet location with a view of the fjord. Very friendly and helpful site manager. The manager speaks German.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Guido H.May 2012Beautifully situated site with very friendly and helpful site operators. Camping under blossoming cherry trees above a fjord, where else can you find that? Sanitary absolutely ok. It's true that the access roads are narrow, but that applies to so many roads in the fjord area...Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- leo w.July 2011Super nice location above the fjord. Both access roads are narrow but manageable. If you come with a wagon, you should be able to push back perfectly. The same applies to the entire road along the fjord, especially between Kinsarvik and Brimnes - sometimes narrow with swerves, but bus and truck traffic.... What grows at the campsite can be harvested by the campers (Mmmmh). Sanitary facilities too few but clean, waiting times to be expected. Showers with coin system. Take a cable reel (Schuko sockets) with you.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
