The site is beautifully situated in the countryside, no disturbing background noise.
Starting point for cycling tours and water sports.
It takes getting used to (for me) the unmarked, free pitches, somewhere, somehow, only the permanent campers have to come in and out, criss-crossing, right in the middle.....................
The "gastronomy", especially the restaurateur, also takes some getting used to.
Opening times and the food on offer are "flexible".

I can only recommend it, although I arrived in the high season and without advance booking with my camper van, I still got a top pitch with electricity. Very nice and helpful operators, who are even up for a bit of fun in stressful times, very well-kept infrastructure, unmarked pitches mostly under trees.... Ideal for excursions to the Baltic Sea beach which can be reached by bike in a few minutes, also the rock/flora/fauna park designed by the forestry office, with forest stage highly recommended excursion, everything can be reached by bike in a few minutes from the site. You can really slow down here.
Would have liked to stay here longer. The local map of Usedom makes you smile, as there are actually elevations of over 20 m labeled as mountains, the highest mountain (elevation) 60 m🤭 for me as a Swiss, these are just hills at best. I will still visit this exact campsite again when I'm in the area. Many thanks to the whole team, you are really good and funny

Quiet place directly on the Achterwasser. Very nice team!!! Great for paddling, surfing etc., nice, central location for excursions. Well-kept, always clean sanitary facilities.

Very nice place directly on the Achterwasser at the small natural harbor. Very, very nice team, very personal, we felt very well looked after! Snack bar directly at the harbor, also with a great team! Here you can sit, eat, drink and look out over the harbor. It's wonderful to have a freshly tapped beer... or a glass of wine and stare at the harbor basin after the day's tour! Fresh bread rolls in the morning without pre-ordering.
Sanitary facilities that are already fresh at 6 a.m. and stay that way throughout the day - our experience was no different.
We were there with a tent, dog and 2 motorcycle teams. Tent meadow with trees, so lots of shady spots and the opportunity to put up a washing line.
There is (fortunately) no entertainment for anyone, but you can do water sports, hike and have a nice starting point for excursions into the hinterland or the baths. The beach is about 2.8 kilometers away and can be reached by bike or on foot. And a highlight is the sunset over the Achterwasser at the campsite's own bathing area!

We experienced a lot of helpfulness from the team and good neighborliness between the campers, thank you very much!

If you don't expect a glitzy site, but rather down-to-earth camping as it should be, you'll find it here!

We would love to come back!

Beautiful place
We only stayed here for 1 night. Place okay, but not parceled out. And that didn't bother us. Friendly staff. We did not use the harbor snack bar. Sanitary facilities well maintained and clean. Small bathing area.

A nice place with friendly staff.
The sanitary facilities are very tidy! The site is located on the Achterwasser, a restaurant at a small harbor close by. There is also a small bathing area. The highway and the railroad are not far away, but out of earshot, separated by a forest!

Neat place on the Achterwasser
I was there for 3 nights with my wife and dog in a camper van. The site is beautifully situated on the Achterwasser and is well-kept and clean - including the sanitary facilities. We were able to take advantage of the Acsi price advantage due to the low season. The staff are very friendly and helpful.... You can get bread rolls at the harbor snack bar - they are baked rolls, but they weren't bad at all. One thing I'll never get used to: as is often the case in East Germany, the pitch is not parceled out and some people seem to like to cuddle up. There's no other way I can explain how they can get so close to you with their caravan or camper van. That was also the reason why we left earlier.
