Well-kept site with clean sanitary facilities, large pitches with electricity, water and drainage connections, very close to the beach, direct connection to well-developed... cycle path network, good starting point for great cycle tours, very suitable for dog owners as there are plenty of opportunities to run around.
Renesse is easy to reach by bike, there you can (not only) buy important things. Bread roll service and good restaurant available on site. WLan sufficient to surf a little on the I-net and receive/send a few messages and download the daily newspaper if required.

Sanitary facilities rather simple standard (extra payment for shower); pure sanitary container - although higher class. After a friendly inquiry about cleanliness, a lot of importance was... attached to it - cleaning 2-3 times a day. The pitches are very large with plenty of space and the Comfort pitches come with electricity, water and waste water. For tent lovers there are the islands on which you can camp in the middle of nature. An ideal place for dog owners, just across the road and up the dune, then you are on the wide beach and can let the dog run freely without a leash at certain times, even in the high season. There are also other paths in the immediate vicinity for walking your dog. Good catering on site. Bread roll service available and a very good restaurant (high standard). There are various beach pavilions on the beach and a typical Dutch chip shop just 500-700 m away. Rennesse is also not far away with a supermarket or in Zirikzee there is Lidl and Co. Burgh-Hamstede is also worth a visit and the whole island is nice to explore. 1 km away is Scharendijke with direct access to the Grevelinger Meer. Beautiful surroundings, the beach is never really full and offers plenty of space for young and old. The campsite is really suitable for relaxing or actively exploring the area if you don't attach so much importance to entertainment, action and many offers from the CP, but want to spend more time with yourself and your family, partner, friends, etc.. We will certainly go there again. The price-performance ratio is in the upper average range by Dutch standards.Automaatselt tõlgitud.

We were referred to an undesired pitch without electricity, because of supposed occupancy, for 22€ a night.After my own examination I had to realize that pitches with electricity were not occupied at all.I was nevertheless satisfied and reserved... the same pitch for another night the next morning, but was again referred to another pitch this time with electricity, as actually desired by me the day before, for 24.50€ the night.When I asked why I was not allowed to occupy the desired FREE pitch, the old woman was very unfriendly and clearly suggested that I never visit this campsite again.I have never experienced anything like it before...But about 3 km away we stayed overnight for 10€ all inclusive.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Britta S.August 2011A really great place! We were there in the transition to low season and it was totally empty. So I can't say what it's like in high season, but at the time of our visit it was very quiet and absolutely clean! However, I doubt whether the 4 showers and toilets per sex are sufficient in high season. You... pay 50 cents for a shower, the amount of hot water is sufficient. There are great family showers and free children's showers. There are also 4 washing-up facilities in the covered wash house. It's a shame that there are only very few types of bread rolls in the kiosk and that the kiosk is quite far away from the pitches. There could also be a few more water points. We had to walk quite far from our pitch to get water. All in all, however, we had a great time and will definitely go back to this campsite right by the sea! Youth groups should definitely look further afield to Renesse. But they are not accepted anyway ;)Automaatselt tõlgitud.
myria s.August 2010We were there in August 2010 and camped on an island. With wind force 7 and constant rain, this is only recommended for hardy and adventurous people. We were able to park our car in front of the island by the bridge, which was very practical. Unfortunately, in bad weather there is no room on the site... where you can play table football, air field hockey or similar. the staff were very friendly. The small store at reception could be a bit better equipped. The sanitary facilities are excellent. The nearest shop is in Scharendijke. Rennesse is 10 minutes by car and there is a small department store where you can get everything you need for camping. The site is super nice and very individually laid out. The location is great, you only have to cross the road through the dunes and you are on the beach (ideal for kite flying). All in all, it's a great place, a bit expensive (on the island) but well worth it.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
