Nice quiet place to relax cycling, hiking, canoeing and sightseeing with wine tasting.

Pitches quite narrow, sanitary containers are already very outdated and quite narrow whether showers or toilets.

The pitches are very cramped and the sanitary containers are very old and the toilets are also very cramped, the showers are not exactly the best. It's ok for one or two nights but the sanitary containers are clean for longer......, they are cleaned twice a day. There is also a bread roll service and... the staff are very nice. There are a lot of dogs on the site, the Rhine cycle path runs right by the campsite, the Siebengebirge mountains are right on the doorstep for hiking and the Ahr valley is not very far away either. The site is quite close to the B9 but it is still very quiet and the Rhine cycle path doesn't interfere. You can start many day trips from here, whether by bike or by car, there is something for everyone.

Nice place, but with flaws
A beautifully situated site. Unfortunately not directly on the Rhine, but on a side arm. Nice operator. The pitch is not parceled out and is obviously very crowded in high season. The sanitary facilities are definitely a negative point. Not only are they too small for the size of the pitch, they are also getting on in years and unfortunately very dirty. OK for 1-2 nights, but not for longer, at least not for us.

We felt very comfortable. The toilet containers were simple but clean at all times.

SUPER
Super campsite. We were on the river arm.
NO train heard NO nuisance from boats. You don't see these passing by either.
Very quiet campsite with excellent grass to stand on. Yes the sanitary blocks are indeed in containers. Nothing wrong with that. Blocks are cleaned with regularity.
Why because many... campers think someone else should clean up their mess.
If you bike off the campground and turn left then at 2 km there is a supermarket. If you go right then at 3 km supermarkets. Various possibilities to cross the Rhine by ferry. Beautiful bike ride to downtown Bonn (25 minutes)
Or to Linz, Konigswinter etc.
Like to go back again.

Sanitary container, but clean at all times
beautiful place
We were standing right on the Rhine with a view of Drachenfels Castle and Drachenfels Castle. A dream. The grass pitches are spacious. Fresh bread rolls are available to order in the morning. They even brought a daily newspaper especially for us. The sanitary containers were unusual for us, but always clean - even when it was busy. We felt very comfortable.
There are no shopping facilities, but that wasn't a problem for us. We will be back
