"Only sauna area rated - Success makes you snooty! I have been visiting the sauna area at the Schwarzwälder Hof in Seelbach for many years, usually with friends. It has been extended time and again over the years and offers a wide range of saunas in a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, maintenance has fallen by the wayside in one place or another. For example, the showers in the changing rooms and the changing rooms themselves are not exactly appetizing if you take a look in the corners. Sometimes a toilet is closed without any indication of where the next one is. Now I found a voucher for €30 when I was clearing out and wanted to redeem it. Yes, it was actually issued more than 3 years ago and had therefore expired. Since one more visitor to the sauna area, apart from a few liters of water for the shower, does not cause any additional costs and in this case we wanted to go to the sauna area as a couple (1x with full payment), I hoped for goodwill. But the unfriendliness I had to put up with set new standards. I don't think a fake voucher would have caused any more of a stir. I was treated as if I was trying to defraud the Schwörer families. It should be noted that the money was collected when the voucher was issued and may even have earned interest over time. So we left the Schwarzwälder Hof without having achieved anything, with the result that it already had one less full day's admission (that of my companion) in the till. Future admissions will certainly go into other operators' coffers.

"Wellness in the Black Forest - The place is more expensive than others, but it also offers a lot. -store -Restaurant -Sauna -super well maintained sanitary facilities - really hot water from the showers and no coin-operated machines!

"Wonderful days in the Black Forest - My husband and I stayed at the Schwarzwälder Hof with our caravan for a few days at short notice and we really enjoyed it. There are lots of leisure activities and the site is very nice. We would love to come back!

"Great wellness camping BUT "Kings among the campers?" - We felt very comfortable, but our expectations were very high due to the many recommendations and also due to a TV report in which the operator describes himself as the "kings among campers". The site is very nicely laid out, the pitches are ok, the sanitary facilities are beautiful and very clean. The sauna and wellness area is included for a short time each day. Unfortunately too short for a nice evening there. Nevertheless, beautifully laid out and equipped with many different saunas.

"overpriced - We were there for a short stay with our 4-year-old granddaughter because it is very child-friendly. That's true, but what's missing is a check from time to time. Older children were running around in the toddler area so the little ones couldn't play. In the indoor pool, it was impossible to stay in the water with these big children, as they were jumping in from all sides, throwing the play balls, etc. I would have really liked to have had supervision. Otherwise a very nice place for children.

Here, the sunrise awaits you. Fantastically embedded in the nature of the Black Forest, laid out on several terraces and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful camping holiday. Where else can you find a 5-star campsite with a …sauna, wellness area, indoor swimming pool and a restaurant right on the premises? And when it comes to infrastructure, camping with comfort is the order of the day here. A real insider tip for those who like a little luxury when camping. As a guest at our campsite, you have the restaurant with Baden and international cuisine and the wellness area, which makes camping a luxury holiday, right on your doorstep. Admission to the sauna is included in the price for 1.5 hours daily from 1 overnight stay for persons aged 13 and over, and for children on family days (Wednesday and Friday). Wi-Fi is available free of charge. However, due to our rural location, we only have limited bandwidth available. We make this fully available to our guests. In addition to pitches for tents and caravans, we have something very special for groups: experience a particularly wonderful time in our small country houses. In our camping shop, you will find fresh bread and rolls, as well as many items and food for your daily needs. During the winter months, we guarantee a bread delivery service if you order before 6 p.m. the day before through reception. The sanitary facilities are located in the main building and in an adjoining building. The washrooms and toilets are heated by a modern solar system. Our junior campers feel just like the grown-ups in the children's washroom area with washbasins at three different heights and showers for toddlers. The friendly family bathroom facilities are complemented by a baby corner with a bathtub and a changing table. In the rooms in the main building, there is also a disabled toilet with a shower. If you don't have your bathroom with you, you are welcome to rent one from us for your own private bathroom. From the entertainment programme to the adventure playground, the toddler play area or the play barn, we offer our guests, both young and old, a wide range of opportunities for playing and sports. Guided family tours, baking bread on a stick, pony rides or the ever-popular Schutter Regatta and much more...
