- Natascha S.August 2021Positiivsed- Fireplace and firewood free of charge on site - Stream directly at the campsite - Pure nature and quiet - Not a single tick discovered - Shopping facilities can be reached quickly and easily by bike - No pitches - Nice host family - Lots of excursion possibilities, also for children of all agesNegatiivsed- The sanitary building is a bit outdated. - Unconventional toilet paper concept. It's best to bring your own toilet paper! - The front part of the campsite (reception to wash house) looks a bit run-down at first. But as soon as you get past the wash house, you have beautiful pitches with lots of nature and charmNature, peace, campfirePitch with its own fire pit, swing barbecue and free wood, which is even delivered to your pitch. I've NEVER had anything like this on a campsite before! Absolutely top!!!
When you arrive at the campsite, the first impression is a bit shocking, I have to admit. The first few meters many pitches are... littered with machines, trailers, agricultural machinery or weeds, but as soon as you pass the wash house, you find yourself on beautiful free pitches. There are no hedges to separate each individual pitch.
However, you can see that the operators are making a lot of effort to restore the campsite bit by bit. This is certainly due to the serious loss of their son in 2014 (my deepest condolences to the Zettelmann family).
The wash house is a bit outdated. You need shower tokens for the showers, which you get at reception.
When it came to the toilets, I had to smile because there is only one roll of toilet paper hanging at the entrance to the toilets and you have to think about how much you need before you "do your business" and take it into the cubicle. So my recommendation: take your own toilet paper with you!
It's great for children. There's lots to discover. The Amorbach, which runs directly alongside the campsite and invites you to splash around a bit. Goats that you can feed and stroke, lots of excursion destinations in the surrounding area and also bike trails.
Amorbach itself is a nice, pretty little town with plenty of shopping opportunities.
All in all, I have to say that we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Reinhold K.June 2020PositiivsedCampsites without pitches, free to use. Great location, right by the stream.NegatiivsedA bit outdated, but not disturbing, everything clean.Pure natureWe had a very nice time in Amorbach.
Despite the coronavirus, everything was well organized and managed.
You rarely find free places in the countryside, everything is so informal and harmonious.
I would love to come back.Automaatselt tõlgitud. - Petra M.September 2018RecreationIf you love nature and tranquillity, you will love this place, which is simple but well-kept. The hosts, the Landzettel family, are always friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy coming here to hike and relax.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Klaus H.March 2016Friendliness is a top priorityMy wife and I stayed at this site for three days with the caravan over Easter. The access road is a bit narrow, but it's good enough. This also applies to the paths on the site itself. The site itself looks untidy in places because building materials and machinery are scattered around the site. If that... doesn't bother you, you'll find a quiet site with incredibly friendly operators and equally friendly permanent campers. The small restaurant is run by the owners and offers simple but tasty dishes (although this is of course a matter of taste), which change from time to time and are sometimes prepared by the owner herself (e.g. potato salad), as well as a bread roll service. The sanitary facilities are clean, fully tiled and were very well heated. If you can overlook the fact that there are a few weeds sprouting in one corner or another (at least that was still the case at the end of March, but the season is only just beginning), you will be able to spend a relaxing vacation here. And if you want to do something, you can quickly reach the town of Miltenberg, whose old town is well worth a visit. I think the price/performance ratio is okay, as the site is not very big but is still open all year round. It should also be mentioned that the power boxes are a little far apart, so that several power cables may be required. You should also pay attention to the road sill before entering. It is easy to touch down there.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
- Thomas H.April 2015PositiivsedConveniently located.NegatiivsedLooks a bit unkempt... Just about acceptable in terms of price.Just about acceptable...Very friendly campsite operators. Many permanent camping ruins. Fine for one night, unfortunately not for the price. Infra-structure is not so great...Automaatselt tõlgitud.

- Bernd S.October 2014PositiivsedMany unclean pitches. You can always come.NegatiivsedThis campsite is not recommendedCamping site Landzettel not recommendedThere is garbage and garbage all over the campsite. Many caravans are not used and have come down. The place is not cleaned and the sanitary facilities look like this. You also have to be careful with the dogs because there are snakes looking for food. The friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired.... You have to wait up to 2 hours for food in the restaurant. He is not good at keeping the pitches clean, he only mows round. The weeds are getting higher and higher. Mr. Landzettel is on the pitch all week and when the week is over, you can't see any results anywhere. And so it goes, the whole year 2016. To all our camping people better drive a few meters further to the campsite Azzur in Kirchzell or drive further towards Miltenberg, Freudenberg which is located directly on the lake. These are real campsites, clean, friendly and everything is properly laid out.Automaatselt tõlgitud.
