actually nice, BUT......
We were passing through with a caravan and three dogs. Despite the bad reviews, we wanted to give it a try. We should have left it at that. Estimated 70% permanent campers, 20% Sinti/Roma, 10% for tourists. We were able to choose a pitch in a small area and were allocated a sanitary building that was... a little further away from our pitch. We wondered why and went to the closer (lower) building. Totally filthy, towel paper in the urinals and otherwise disastrous. Then we noticed (even though I may be causing a shitstorm now): An entire area in the lower section was besieged by Sinti/Roma. Unfortunately, they confirmed all our prejudices.... But the other sanitary building was also very old, but a bit cleaner. I wonder: if you have so many permanent campers, you have a predictable income. You should be able to modernize with that. Arrival was easy, we had to wait a little longer for the operator to come to reception. A warm welcome is something else. The allocated area was very uneven. The caravan was almost sitting on the back, and we had to put stones under the front so that the supports would even grip.
You can take the dogs for a nice walk, the access to the sea is very shallow.
There is a playground for children, but it's not that big. The mini golf course in front of reception is also getting on in years.
So, arriving in the evening and leaving early in the morning is ok. But a longer stay? Better not.

Beach/water -> shells
Good place with potential for improvement
We stayed at this campsite for 4 days. It is mostly used as a transit site and has many permanent campers. Spacious pitch, lots of sun, beach and water (ground) littered with shells (bathing shoes recommended). Sanitary facilities partly old: shower curtain and new: lockable cubicle Cleaned every evening.... It gets very quiet in the evening and you can sleep well. The water slide can be used for a fee of min. 40SEK/30min. Playground is ok for smaller children, not so great for older children. The mini golf course is a bit old, but we still had fun playing. Excursions to Trollhättan and Skaftö are quick and easy to reach by car. Conclusion: Good campsite with some room for improvement

Quiet places, spacious meadows, good views

The condition of the sanitary facilities is possibly deplorable.
Quiet location with large meadows
The pitches are very spacious on two large meadows and overlook the water. Other pitches in the upper part of the site are rather cramped. Some of the sanitary facilities are a bit old but clean. We would book the site again.

Very large pitch on the fjord. It could be in a really nice location, but the highway bridge crosses the fjord close to the site, so the E6 is clearly audible. The site is packed, many permanent campers. Nevertheless, very spacious and varied. WLAN only works to a very limited extent.
