as it had rained a lot, the pitches were very wet and the grass was long

We came to Ajstrup because there were no more good pitches at Blommehaven, but did not regret this choice. The pitches were very wet but we found one that was close to the road so we were sure we could get there. Should only have been here 3-4 days but as the weather was good we extended it to 1 week.... Bath and kitchen facilities were top notch and the site was right down to the water where we went for lovely walks and the dog had a good swim. Visited the sculpture exhibition at Aarhus and Moesgaard Museum. Will definitely come back to this place another time

They make some great food in the cafeteria / hot dog stand.
Negatiiviset
No inventory list in the cabin, needed a post-check.
Well used campsite.
It has a slightly worn appearance. The cabin needed an overhaul. No inventory list and you don't get far with just 1 knife.

Camping Cheque prices
Upon departure, we were charged an additional DKK 12,- per person as an environmental fee!!!. Asked directly and later asked at CampingRådet and DCU, it has not yet been possible to find out what this DKK 24,- per day goes to. Which public authority is settled to (in the style of VAT etc.), - is it a hidden price increase that goes directly to the site or what.... very distasteful. Demand a real price so people know what it costs!

I'm usually there in the low season and it's always been a great vacation for me! Because I will enjoy it again this year ;-)

This site is inexpensive, large and offers something for everyone. Sanitary facilities could be cleaned more often in the high season (Whitsun holidays), very clean on normal days

I think it is in dilapidated condition the playground's swings and tower are falling apart, however, it has been said to the camp manager, but nothing has been done, it is very messy, and the camp manager's children have too free rein to destroy railings mooncars and some other things on the site it is a shame, as it was previously always kept in good condition

A really nice location - nice space - but unfortunately not with heated facilities as described. It was freezing cold to take a shower the first week in April :-). There was limited supply - no possibility to buy "take-away" as it also says in the brochure. But probably a really nice summer campsite.
