The beach area in particular has many new attractions and is very well maintained. Unfortunately, the upkeep of the actual camping area is deteriorating. Some things are in need of renovation, especially the sanitary facilities.
The entrance area with... restaurant is also getting on in years. It is incomprehensible why a lot of money is being invested in prestige projects (super modern access system, new aqua park in the beach area), but what is important to many campers/tourists (sanitary facilities, for example, older mobile homes) is being neglected.
The mobile home wasn't super clean either and was also getting on in years. But there are also many brand new ones.
Otherwise, the infrastructure is great. You can quickly walk to the supermarket and can also quickly get to Balatonfüred.
Overall, I am divided in my assessment. You can neither rate the campsite as bad nor as super good. There should be urgent investment in the existing facilities and not always new ones being built.

Nice Mobilehomes but I would not recommend bringing your own caravan. Nice facilities at the beach and brand new restaurant on site. Staff here but also... at reception friendly and helpful. At the end of the season, some of the play equipment, water slide "landscapes" and sanitary facilities are already being dismantled or closed. The beach has a sandy bottom and is pleasant for swimming, but the water ski lift, which restricts the swimming area, can be a nuisance! Noise pollution, especially at weekends, when the open-air disco or road runners meet up nearby until 5am! Conclusion: large space that should be better maintained (dried out plants in troughs) and would have much more potential! In the low season, a few days vacation during the week is quite possible on the differently sized pitches! Prices are reasonable in the low season!Käännetty automaattisesti.

Reception is slow, half hours queuing to check in and out. It is absolutely impossible to reach the campsite by phone. Expensive food on site.Hungarian camping in almost European styleBeach with sand for children, next to a large slide. A meadow for lounging, a large pool and a small pool for children. Clean sanitary facilities, but the slack is well worn out, hot water. There is a laundry room. Finally, no barking dogs. There is a ban on introductions. Security at the campground,... but out of habit I did not lock anything anyway. Nothing has disappeared. Restaurants and pubs a lot, but food and service no longer five-star. More expensive than in the city. I recommend taking a bicycle for rides around the city and the area. And unfortunately, the Internet is paid, and very expensive. We wanted to stay on the north side, but all the campsites there are closed at the beginning of September. So we had no choice but to switch to the other side. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to read the reviews... in advance, otherwise we would certainly have avoided this campsite. The reception was already closed at 16:30. The security guard assigned us a pitch in the last corner, although there were plenty of free pitches. The sanitary facilities were a disaster - very old and dirty. You have to be afraid of touching something. In the shower you have to hold the shower head in your hand as there is no hanging device. I recommend, if you do not require luxuries it is OK-this is not a 5* hotel.Stay 12-24 July 2016 on 100 sq.m. parcel No. 215 with my wife and 12-year-old daughter, close to sanitary facilities (relative cleanliness and condition of the toilet), but a lot of people - hard to clean all the time :), close to the sandy and grassy beach. On the beach trees, so there is also shade.... Beach volleyball and football field, tennis courts about 37 PLN/1 hour. Water bicycles, windsurfing on rope lifts, bars, restaurants, SPAR and TESCO near 100m, ALDI 300m, interesting rope park 350m, long promenade, many bars and pubs, affordable prices, e.g. a plate: gyros, fries, salads about 25 PLN. In TIHANY in an intimate restaurant 3 times goulash soup plus 3 langos and 3 complimentary soup company bowls about 70 PLN for the whole thing, that's quite inexpensive! :) Generally clean beaches and water. We are satisfied and will most likely return to Balatonfured one day, maybe to CAMP FURED.Käännetty automaattisesti.

Especially the sanitary facilities, which are totally outdated. You either have a very thin stream of water or hot water for showering. In the morning and evening showers at the washbasin you get wet from top to bottom, as the tap lets out... a gush of water after the start pressure (you can't turn it on slowly), but closes again automatically after 2-3 seconds. To wash your face alone, you have to press the tap 2 or 3 times - and each time you get a gush of water that gets you wet from top to bottom. Then you only have cold water again to wash the dishes. They would actually be great pitches, but only a few have a water connection. You often need earplugs, as the bass from a disco or similar from the opposite side of the lake booms so loudly at night until the early hours that you can't sleep.
