However, this may also have something to do with our pitch.Beautiful campsiteWe were traveling with a small caravan and car. Our pitch was near the swimming pool, very nice.

The sanitary facilities are clean. There are cabins with a toilet, shower and washbasin. I've never seen them like this before - very pleasant.
The staff are very friendly
Very good... location to the city; we rode the ebikes to the center in 10 minutes (about 3km). There is also a bus in front of the campsite, but we didn't use it.
There could be a problem with small children. We arrived on the opening day of the season.
The lady at reception was very friendly, although she was still on break, she gave us a pitch and helped us choose one. We also found the whole thing appealing... at first glance. The highway above the campsite was okay, a bit annoying at night if you don't have a good night's sleep, but it's bearable.
The reason for our quick departure were the sanitary facilities, clean yes, but toilet brushes in a box in front of the doors and an open hygiene bucket hanging on the wall, not at all! At least not for us! The pitches are shady along the way, and it is a little cramped for larger motorhomes. The campsite operators are very accommodating and make every effort to keep guests happy. The pitches are large enough, shady and the landscape is quite attractive. The sanitary facilities are clean, but are in urgent need of renovation. You can hardly hear the highway because the site is almost directly underneath it. There is no... catering at the campsite apart from a bread roll service. There is a mini-market just outside the campsite (rarely open) and a good fruit and vegetable shop which also stocks the most necessary groceries. The bar is ok, the restaurant is not quite gourmet dining. We got what we came for\; resonable price camping close to Aix which is well worth a whole day.

The private campsite is really lovingly designed. Everyone is extremely friendly and you get as many tips for Aix as you want. The sanitary facilities etc. have already been described and I can only confirm that everything is clean and well... maintained. If something is not right, it is also down to the customers :-) Nice swimming pool to relax and the town is only a few minutes away by bus (line 13) (there and back for 2 euros!) There are plenty of shops on the doorstep, fresh oysters, fish, vegetables .... The place lives from its guests, who always seem to like to come back, but are also very welcoming to new visitors without being intrusive. Instead of going to the coast, we stay here and follow in Cézanne's footsteps, even the square is reminiscent of him... By the way: If you're worried because the campsite is a bit cramped, that's not a problem. The owner and the guests will help you without any fuss. If you like, you can take part in the weekly petanque competition or fishing competition. The two-generation management is very helpful, always friendly and ensures that the site is clean and tidy. Somewhat older, but very nice and always spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. Pitches with water,... some very large. We had more than enough space with our 9-meter double-axle vehicle. Very dog-friendly. Dog run along a stream right next to the campsite. Shopping facilities for groceries just outside the campsite, as well as several restaurants. Extremely well located for exploring Aix en Provence and the surrounding area. - Gregor B.May 2013Very nice complex, on both sides of a small river (bridge), but unfortunately it is very noisy on the higher pitches because of the road and the highway in the immediate vicinity - a pity. The relatively central location is very pleasant: only about 25 minutes on foot to the city center. Within 10 minutes... walking distance there is a bistro, a supermarket, a bakery and a wine store (price: EUR 10,-- per night for one person with tent and bicycle in May).Käännetty automaattisesti.
